A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A BEVERAGE
A method for producing a beverage, for example cold-brewed tea or cold-brewed coffee, comprises exposing flavour materials (23), for example tea leaves or ground coffee beans, to hot water or steam to steep the flavour materials (23), circulating a mixture of the steeped flavour materials (23) and cold water in a brewing chamber (16), and dispensing the mixture through a filter device (18) to provide the beverage.
Capsule, method and device for brewing a beverage
A capsule for use in a brewing device is provided, comprising a body part, which defines a cavity and which has a flange, a lid which is attached to the flange and tea material enclosed within the capsule, characterized in that the shape of the flange is defined by two intersecting circular arcs when viewed from above. A brewing device which comprises a capsule holder for receiving the capsule is also provided, the capsule holder comprising a sidewall which is circular when viewed from above and which has an upper rim, a shelf on at least part of the inside of the sidewall, a filter and an openable and closable passage on the opposite side of the filter from the upper rim. A method of preparing a tea-based beverage in the brewing device using the capsule is also provided.
MACHINE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING BEVERAGES
A machine for preparing beverages includes at least one tank for water fluidly connected to a filtering container suitable to contain an aromatic mixture and to an outlet for the beverage associated with selective delivery devices; a pump to feed the water from said tank; a heating device to heat the water in transit, and a control and command unit connected to a user interface.
Proportional emulsion valve for fluid treatment machines, in particular for the production and delivery of beverages
The present invention relates to a proportional emulsion valve (1), configured to be used inside a fluid treatment machine, comprising a main body (2) in which an inlet duct (3) is defined, operatively connectable to the hydraulic circuit of a fluid treatment machine and configured to allow the entrance into said valve (1) of a fluid at a pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, and an outlet duct (4) operatively connectable to the hydraulic circuit of the machine and configured for the expulsion of the fluid from the valve (1), the inlet duct (3) and said outlet duct (4) being in fluid communication one another, the valve (1) comprising a slider (7) selectively positionable in an opening position, in which it allows the fluid communication between the inlet duct (3) and the outlet duct (4), and being selectively positionable, against the pressure exerted by a fluid when it is contained in the inlet duct (3), in a closing position in which the fluid communication between the inlet duct (3) and the outlet duct (4) is interrupted due to direct or indirect action of the slider (7), the slider (7) being operatively connected to an actuating system (9) comprising a driving element (10) configured to selectively exercise on the slider (7) a desired closing force (11) which tends to bring it towards the closing position; the driving element (10) is configured to exert the closing force (11) on the slider (7) through an elastic element (12) interposed between the driving element (10) and the slider (7) and configured to elastically force the slider (7) towards the closing position.
Extraction device and extracting method
The disclosure relates to an extraction device for extracting soluble favors from raw materials that are distributed within liquid. The extraction device includes a first container, a second container, a valve, and an air suction device. The second container is configured for storing the mixture of the raw materials and the liquid. The valve is connected to the second container and the first container. The air suction device is connected to the first container and configured to decrease the internal pressure of the first container to a predetermined value. When the internal pressure of the first container reaches the predetermined value, the valve is activated to connect the first container to the second container. The disclosure also relates to an extracting method for using the extraction device.
Pressurized brewing, gas-infusion, and dispensing machine
An integrated device including a vessel, a gas reservoir, a pressure regulation device, a primary filter, and a tap assembly. The vessel is configured to contain a beverage. The gas reservoir is configured to supply pressurized gas within the vessel. The pressure regulation device is configured to maintain an infusing pressure within the vessel and also a dispensing pressure within the vessel. The primary filter is configured to hold solid brewing media, to fit inside the vessel, and to be removable from the vessel. The tap assembly is configured to dispense the beverage from the vessel. Methods are also disclosed.
FILTER HOLDER AND COFFEE MACHINE
A filter holder for receiving a filter with extraction material, in particular ground coffee, has a receptacle portion having a bottom and at least one bottom-side flow-through opening on which a valve for opening and closing the flow-through opening is arranged. The valve can be moved by means of a linear actuator and can thus be controlled to set the brewing time. Further provided is a coffee machine having such a filter holder.
Hydraulic siphon assisted brewing apparatus with agitation mechanism
A beverage brewing system having, inter alia, a brew hopper, a hydraulic siphoning component affixed thereto and a solenoid-actuated door switch mechanism. The beverage brewing system includes a hydraulic siphoning component configured to allow hot water to bloom and steep for a controlled amount of time in a brew hopper. The beverage brewing system further includes a brew-hopper agitation mechanism.
FILTER ELEMENT, SEALING ASSEMBLY AND COFFEE MACHINE
Provided is a filter element comprising a filter element body having a cavity, a water inlet and a water outlet, an end cap, and a perforated partition, and the perforated partition is configured to divide the filter element body into a first chamber filled with an adsorption filter material and a second chamber filled with an ion exchange filter materials. In the present disclosure, the filter element is divided into two stages, and the primary filter material and the softening filter material are filled separately, and functions of both filtration and descaling are realized, addressing the issues blocking of water and reduced water flow in the coffee machine using a PP/PE filter element. Meanwhile, reduction in water flow caused by the mixing of the filter materials and the caking of the filter material is also solved.
