There may be about 70 perforations, with an even number distributed on each side of the housing, and the perforations may have a diameter of about 2.33 mm so as to permit the flow of oils and other elements of coffee which might otherwise be filtered through the housing material.

A cap subassembly, which is coupled to the infuser body subassemblies detachably attaches to an opening of the drinking liquid dispenser so that the infuser body subassemblies are fully immersed in the cavity of the drinking liquid dispenser. The cap subassembly has a concave curved shape to enable uniform flowage of the liquid through an infused solution intake member.

An apparatus and a method for cold brewing beverages are provided. The apparatus comprises a container and at least one insert arranged in the container. The insert may either be a filter for holding brewing material or a receptacle for holding cooling material. A liquid like water filled in the container is pumped through a conduit into the insert and is then returned to the container, from where it may be pumped again to the insert. Thus a cycle for brewing and cooling a beverage is provided, depending on whether the insert is a filter for holding brewing material or a receptacle for holding cooling material, thereby considerably reducing the time required to produce a cold-brewed beverage.

Cold brew coffee apparatus

Disclosed is a cold brew coffee maker and related methods of making cold brew coffee. The cold brew coffee maker can include a rotation assembly, a brew chamber, and a strainer/stirrer assembly. The strainer/stirrer assembly is adapted to be insertable into the brew chamber. The strainer/stirrer assembly having a first and second impeller that are located at a bottom portion of the strainer/stirrer assembly, the first impeller being located externally to the strainer/stirrer assembly and the second impeller located within a chamber formed by the strainer/stirrer assembly. The brew chamber portion of the cold brew coffee maker being filled partially with water, the strainer/stirrer assembly placed into the brew chamber and the brew chamber placed atop the rotation assembly. Ground coffee is added to the chamber located within the strainer/stirrer assembly and the rotation assembly is energized such that the first and second impellers cause the ground coffee and water to be mixed until a desired amount of coffee flavor is imparted upon the water by the ground coffee.
