PREPARATION DEVICE FOR EXTRACTION BEVERAGES AND LIFTING DEVICE FOR STRAINERS
The present disclosure relates to a lifting device for a strainer for preparing extraction beverages, particularly a tea strainer, which comprises a timer, a spring for generating a lifting force on the strainer, a latch which can be moved between a first latch position and a second latch position, and a magnet. The latch keeps the spring tensioned in the first latch position and allows relaxation of the spring in the second latch position. The magnet is configured to move the latch by magnetic interaction from the first latch position into the second latch position when the timer is in a zero position. The disclosure further relates to a device for preparing extraction beverages, particularly a tea maker, which comprises a housing, a space for receiving water, a strainer, which can be moved between a first strainer position, in which the strainer is located in said space, and a second strainer position, and such a lifting device. The lifting device keeps the strainer in the first strainer position in the first latch position and allows movement of the strainer into the second strainer position in the second latch position.

A coffee brewing system includes a brew vessel adapted to receive water and ground coffee to produce and store a brewed beverage and to provide for a cleaning system. The brew vessel includes a filter and a magnet stirrer in the lower portion of the brew vessel. The magnet stirrer creates a water vortex for brewing the coffee. The used coffee grounds are allowed to settle on the filter creating a bed of used coffee grounds and the coffee is then filtered through both the bed of used coffee grounds and the filter and collected in a coffee storage container. A cleaning system is used to remove unsightly coffee stains and oil films in the system after a brewing cycle.

A beverage maker, particularly for coffee or tea, includes an outer receptacle for containing a mixture of a liquid and a solid beverage making material. A filter element mountable within the outer receptacle divides the outer receptacle into a fluid flow space between the filter element and a closed bottom of the outer receptacle, and a holding space between the filter element and a top of the outer receptacle where the liquid and solid material are mixed to form a beverage. An inner housing having a beverage receptacle may slide in the outer receptacle to filter the beverage through the substantially stationary filter element to provide the beverage in the fluid flow space. Under continued pressure, the beverage is forced into at least one fluid flow conduit fluidly connecting the fluid flow space to the beverage receptacle to fill the beverage receptacle.
