The invention relates to coffee packing and dosing devices and machines and more particularly to a portafilter dosing tools used to control the amount, distribution and/or packing of ground coffee within the filter basket of a portafilter prior to extraction. In one aspect the invention provides a device for vibrating the filter basket to vibrate coffee grounds therein to promote levelling and devoiding prior to tamping. In other aspects the invention provides machines and methods for filling a coffee filter basket with tamped ground coffee to a target level. In still other aspect the invention provides a tool for manually administering a uniform tamping force to coffee during tamping.
Magnetically driven beverage brewing and cleaning system
A coffee brewing system includes a brew vessel adapted to receive water and ground coffee to produce and store a brewed beverage and to provide for a cleaning system. The brew vessel includes a filter and a magnet stirrer in the lower portion of the brew vessel. The magnet stirrer creates a water vortex for brewing the coffee. The used coffee grounds are allowed to settle on the filter creating a bed of used coffee grounds and the coffee is then filtered through both the bed of used coffee grounds and the filter and collected in a coffee storage container. A cleaning system is used to remove unsightly coffee stains and oil films in the system after a brewing cycle.
Windowed Single-Serving Brewing Material Holder
A container includes a receptacle and a cover. The receptacle includes a base and a sidewall. The base has an interior surface and a passageway in an interior area of the base. The passageway provides fluid communication from an interior of the receptacle to an exterior of the receptacle. The sidewall extends upward from the interior surface of the base. The cover is configured to sealingly engage with a top edge of the sidewall, and includes a cover opening. The container is configured to accept input fluid through the cover opening and to provide a corresponding outflow of fluid through the passageway. The passageway allows the outflow fluid to flow from the container while accommodating an outflow needle of a beverage brewer.
VENDING MACHINE FOR NATURAL FRUIT JUICES PREPARED ON THE SPOT
The present invention refers to a vending machine for juices made of natural fruit comprising a structure or framework, a module for storing and dispensing fruits having compartments for preserving fruit, helical bars for transportation disposed in each compartment which transport the pieces of fruit without damaging them, weighing hoppers that receive, measure and dose the weight of the pieces of fruit by means of load cells, a means for transferring the dosed fruit, a blending module with the upper part of the blender vessel modified to eliminate the need for closure or covering, modules for transporting liquids with peristaltic pumps and with tubular conduits to control accurately the amount of liquid supplied, a module for supplying food additives, a container dispenser, a module for the interaction between the user and the machine equipped with a touch-screen, a cooling module, a control module and preferably a modified module for drainage and safety.
Multi-serving product dispenser system
The invention relates to a product container (1) for multiple dosing of a food product, comprising an inner volume (3) with a food product, this inner volume (3) being pressurized with nitrogen gas; the product container (1) further comprising a rotatable outlet element (7, 30) able to move from a position where the outlet of the container is open to a position where the outlet of the container is closed, being able to open and close the volume of the container under pressure; the pressure inside the container being higher than the atmospheric pressure. The invention further relates to a multi-serving product dispenser system for multiple dosing of a food product, comprising a product container (1) according as disclosed and a dosing mechanism (50), the container (1) being connectable to the dosing mechanism (50) by means of the rotatable outlet element (7, 30) in a tight manner, the dosing mechanism (50) comprising a moveable element (23) which movement is sequential with that of the rotatable outlet element (7, 30) such that the product can be stored, and can be dispensed into a dosing chamber (70) in the dosing mechanism (50), keeping the inner volume (3) of the container at a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure. The invention also relates to a method for dispensing a food product one or a plurality of times using a multi-serving dispenser system as described.
Device and method for preparing a beverage, in particular for preparing a protein-containing mixed beverage
The invention relates to a device for preparing a beverage having the following: a mixing device; a first container for storing a pourable substrate; a first supply device which is provided for supplying the pourable substrate out of one of the first containers to the mixing device; a second container for storing an at least substantially liquid substrate; a second supply device which is provided for supplying the at least substantially liquid substrate from one of the second containers to the mixing device; a third supply device which is provided for supplying a carrier liquid to the mixing device; and a dispensing device which is provided for dispensing the beverage into a container. The invention further relates to a method for preparing a beverage, to a device for storing and supplying a pourable substrate, and to a method for assembling the device for storing and supplying a pourable substrate.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR BREWING A BEVERAGE
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a desired portion of a beverage, such as a single-cup portion of coffee, are provided. The system can include one or more hopper assemblies configured to provide a controlled dose of beverage material to a brew chamber. The system can also include a water input system configured to wet the ground beverage material as the grinds enter the brew chamber and substantially prevent steam from reaching grinder components of the system. Further, the system can include an automatic cleaning mechanism such that a user does not need to manually clean components of a brewing machine between brew cycles.
Ground coffee dispenser for a coffee machine provided with a turbine with curved blades
A ground coffee dispenser intended to cooperate with a coffee machine, includes a ground coffee storage reservoir provided with a contour and a bottom, and a ground coffee distributor pouring a predefined quantity of ground coffee from the reservoir into a brewing area of the machine. The distributor includes a disk driven in rotation, curved blades being attached onto a lower face of the disk. The quantity of ground coffee poured is defined by a peripheral space provided between the diameter of the periphery of the disk and an inner wall of the contour, close to the bottom of the storage reservoir. The bottom of the reservoir includes an opening for transferring the ground coffee arranged under the disk. The curved blade extends from the periphery towards the inside of the disk to transfer the ground coffee admitted by the peripheral space into the transfer opening when the disk rotates.
