Nozzle structure for steaming milk
A nozzle structure having an intake end and an outtake end, wherein a lateral axis is associated with the center of the intake end. A plurality of nozzle bores are uniformly distributed over the outtake end, and each nozzle bore is orthogonal to the lateral axis. Each nozzle bore includes an outlet in communication with the intake end. A flow path between the inlet and outlet forms an acute angle with the intake end.
FLUID TEXTURING DEVICE
A fluid texturing device is provided for use with a beverage brewing apparatus. In one embodiment, the fluid texturing device can include a housing a housing extending between a first end and a second end. The fluid texturing device can also include a hollow driveshaft arranged within the housing and having an air path extending from the first end to the second end of the housing. The hollow driveshaft can include a coupling arranged therein and axially movable within the hollow driveshaft such that the coupling can variably block the air path to prevent a flow of air through the air path. The fluid texturing device can also include a whisk assembly removably coupled to the second end of the housing and including a whisk mated to the driveshaft such that the driveshaft can rotate the whisk.
Drinks machine with hot water and steam delivery and a method of use
A drinks machine has an output nozzle for delivering hot water or steam, Steam is used by a milk frothing unit whereas hot water is delivered by the output nozzle directly to the exterior of the drinks machine for collection in a drinks vessel. A single nozzle is thus provided for steam or hot water delivery and there is no need for any accessory when delivering hot water. This means that there is reduced cost, fewer components to lose, and simplified cleaning, in that only per-use cleaning of the milk frothing unit is required, not the fixed parts of the appliance associated with the milk frothing unit.
MILK FROTHING METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS
A milk-frothing apparatus for preparing high quality micro-foamed milk for coffee drinks consistently and at high volume. A machine having one or more steaming stations includes an elevator at each station with an elevator-mounted steaming wand having a precise angle at the discharge end. The elevator-mounted steaming wand is configured to travel from an upward stowed status to a downward deployed status to insert the discharge end of the elevator-mounted steaming wand into milk inside a pitcher precisely located on the machine. A steam boiler is hydraulically coupled to the elevator-mounted steam wand via flexible tubing and an infrared sensor monitors the temperature of the pitcher during a downward deployed status. An LCD screen with operator controls and displays oriented to coincide spatially with the elevator indicate different operational settings selected by the user and related to machine operation.
BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE EQUIPPED WITH A ROTATING STIRRING DEVICE AND A COFFEE NOZZLE
A beverage preparation machine includes a frame equipped with a cup holder, a coffee dispensing nozzle including an outlet orifice and a rotating stirring device including a tool rotating about an axis and intended to cooperate with a preparation contained in a container resting on the cup holder, the rotating stirring device including a conduit for conveying hot water and/or steam toward the rotating tool. The rotating stirring device is mobile in vertical translation parallel to the axis between a top standby position, in which the rotating tool is situated above the container, and a bottom working position, in which the rotating tool is situated in the container. The outlet orifice is separated from the rotating stirring device and arranged at a constant distance from the axis so that the outlet orifice and the rotating tool are arranged above an upper opening of the container arranged on the cup holder.
FILTRATION SYSTEM
A filtration system for use in a beverage dispensing machine comprising a first and second boiler is described. The filtration system comprises: an input fluid line for connecting the system to a water source; a first filter module connected to the input fluid line; an output fluid conduit connected to the first filter and configured to have a first fluid output line for directing fluid to the first boiler and a second fluid output line for directing fluid to the second boiler; and a second filter module, located in the in the second fluid output line; wherein the second filter module is capable of removing ions not removeable by the first filter module.
A MACHINE FOR PREPARING BEVERAGES COMPRISING A SENSORISED ACCESSORY WITH RF TRANSMISSION OF THE VALUE MEASURED OF THE TEMPERATURE OF A LIQUID IN A CONTAINER
A machine for preparing beverages comprises a front wall, a rest base for containers positioned in front of the front wall and a temperature detection probe immersible in a comestible liquid contained in a container positioned on the rest base. The front wall has a beverage dispenser and a steam dispenser positioned above the rest base of the containers and supports a first antenna. The temperature probe comprises a second antenna interacting with the first antenna for wireless transmission of the temperature detected of the liquid in the container.
Device for processing liquids through steam
Device, comprising a platform for placing a vessel containing the liquid, a pipe with an open end configured for supplying steam to the vessel, a driving device configured to actuate a relative movement between the end of the pipe and the platform, means for determining a liquid level of the liquid in the vessel, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to actuate the driving device so that a relative initial position between the end of the pipe and the platform is assumed on the basis of the liquid level. The means for determining the liquid level comprise a weighing device. The control unit is then configured to determine the liquid level from the weight.
Eddy steam tip/eddy frothing nozzle
A steam tip for frothing milk foams comprises a tip body, a connector for connecting to a steam source providing a steam flow, wherein the tip body is hollow inside, wherein the tip body further comprises at least a top side, at least a bottom side, and at least two lateral sides, wherein the connector is on the top side of the tip body, wherein each of the at least two lateral sides forms an angle with the bottom side of the tip body between about 0 degree and about 90 degrees, and wherein at least one steam outlet is formed on each of said at least two lateral sides of said tip body.
Automatic apparatus for heating and frothing milk and related method
An automatic apparatus for heating and frothing milk comprises a device for generating steam for heating the milk, a first high temperature hydraulic circuit, a refrigerating group for maintaining the conservation temperature of the milk, and a second low temperature hydraulic circuit. The refrigerating group includes a milk container and pump for drawing milk therefrom. A first total separation valve separates the second hydraulic circuit from the first hydraulic circuit, a second total separation valve modulates the quantity of air drawn by the pump, a third total separation valve separates both the first hydraulic circuit and the second hydraulic circuit from a milk dispensing circuit, a steam injection device mixes the steam with the frothed milk, and a fourth total separation valve modulates the quantity of steam outlet from the steam generating device. Each total separation valve is provided with an actuator element manufactured with a shape memory alloy.
