THERMALLY UNCONDITIONED BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE
A machine (1) for preparing a beverage (3) has a beverage processing unit (10, 20) formed of a first processing unit member (10) and a second processing unit member (20) that delimit a chamber (21) and that are movable between a distant configuration in which a flavouring ingredient (2) is received in the chamber (21) and a proximate configuration in which the flavouring ingredient (2) is held and mixed with water (4) in the chamber (21). The machine includes: a water source for delivering the water (4) towards the beverage processing unit (10, 20); and a water guide (30) extending from the water source into the beverage processing unit (10, 20) arranged such that substantially all the water (4) delivered into the chamber (21) for preparing the beverage (3) is guided by the water guide (30). The water source and the water guide (30) are thermally passive so as to deliver the water (4) into the chamber (21) unconditioned by any active thermal conditioner of such machine (1).

The water guide (30), and optionally the water source, is/are configured such that the water (4) is driven from the water source into the chamber (21) along the water guide (30) substantially only by effect of gravity and/or capillary and/or gas pressure and/or depression forces.

BEVERAGE MACHINE WITH AN OFF-SET ACTUATOR
A machine (1) for preparing a beverage (3) has a beverage processing unit (10, 20) formed of a first processing unit member (10) and a second processing unit member (20) that delimit a chamber (21) and that are movable between a distant configuration in which a flavouring ingredient (2) is received in the chamber (21) and a proximate configuration in which the flavouring ingredient (2) is held and mixed with water (4) in the chamber (21). The machine includes: a water source for delivering the water (4) towards the processing unit (10, 20); a water guide (30) for guiding the water (4) between the water source and the chamber (21); a support structure (70), such as a frame, having a base (72) that is stationary during beverage preparation, the processing unit (10, 20) being rotatably mounted to the support structure (70) about a processing unit axis (71‘); and an actuator supported by the support structure (70) that has a driving output member (61) rotating about an output axis (61’). The output member (61) is coupled to the processing unit (10, 20) for driving the processing unit (10,20) in rotation. The output member (61) is coupled to the processing unit (10, 20) by a transmission (611, 612, 62) such that the output axis (61‘) is off-set relative to the processing unit axis (71’).
FLOW DELIVERY SYSTEM
A flow delivery system to deliver and monitor a liquid flow, using a pump, and a monitoring device (e.g. a flow meter) are described. A controller determines if the flow is a liquid flow or a gas flow by reducing a drive signal for the pump from a first drive signal to a second drive signal. This changes the characteristics of both the pump drive signal and the characteristics of the resulting flow. Based on the change in the characteristics, the flow is determined to be a liquid flow or a gas flow.
BEVERAGE MAKER HAVING AN OUTLET DEVICE
A beverage maker for dispensing coffee beverages includes a water heater, a brewing apparatus, which can be supplied with hot water from the water heater, and an outlet device, which is connected to the brewing apparatus via a hot-beverage line. The beverage maker also has at least one outlet head, which can be secured on the outlet device and is intended for dispensing one or more beverage components, which are guided to the outlet device via separate food lines. The outlet device has a mechanical interface in order for the outlet head to be coupled on in a sealing manner.

BREWING DEVICE
A brewing device includes a support a body a water inlet sealing plate assembly and a water-outlet sealing plate assembly The support is provided with a mounting cavity in which the body is detachably mounted, a brewing cavity with a water inlet and a water outlet at two ends is provided in the body, and a feeding port for coffee powder to enter is provided in a side portion of the brewing cavity, the water-iniet sealing plate assembly includes a first sealing plate movablv mounted in the bodv, and a first power source for opening and closing the water inlet and mounted on the support, and the first power source is configured for driving the first sealing plate to act, the water-outlet sealing plate assembly is mounted on the support, and an output end of the water-outlet sealing, plate assembly is configured for sliding in the brewing cavity.
COFFEE MACHINE
A coffee machine includes a housing having a first mounting cavity with a first opening opened or closed by a detachable cover plate, a support having a second mounting cavity with a second opening and detachably mounted in the first mounting cavity, a body detachably mounted in the second mounting cavity, and having a brewing cavity with a water inlet and a water outlet at two ends and a feeding port for coffee powder at a side portion, a first sealing plate movably mounted in the body and capable of opening and closing the water inlet, and a first power source mounted on the support and driving the first sealing plate to act, and a water-outlet sealing plate assembly mounted on the support, with an output end slidable in the brewing cavity and a water outlet channel.
