The present invention provides a heating device, including a heating body. The heating body is provided with a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet and a flow channel, wherein one of the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet is arranged in an edge area of the heating body, and the other one of the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet is arranged in a central area of the heating body. The flow channel is arranged spirally along a circumferential direction of the heating body and communicates the fluid inlet with the fluid outlet. The present invention further provides a coffee machine including the heating device, and the fluid being heated by the heating device is water. The heating device and the coffee machine can improve the stability of the temperature of the outlet water and improve the taste and quality of the brewed coffee.

A beverage preparation apparatus and method are provided, the apparatus including a brewing chamber, at least one pump configured to supply a diluent to the brewing chamber, two heaters configured to heat the diluent, at least one heater of the two heaters being a pipe heater, a controller configured to independently supply power to one or both of the heaters as a function of a flow rate and of a temperature of the diluent.

Beverage preparation apparatus for preparing a beverage comprising: —a water tank (2) for storing water, —a brewing unit (3) for receiving a dose of beverage ingredients, —a water in line (5) for supplying water from the water tank to the brewing unit (3) including a pressure pump (4) for supplying pressurized liquid to the brewing unit and a fluid heater (29) for heating liquid, —a control unit (6) for selectively controlling the activation of the pressure pump, wherein it further comprises a fluidic interrupter (7) positionable in fluidic interruption position for interrupting the fluidic communication between the water tank (2) and the water line (5) and, reversely, positionable in fluidic communication position for restoring the fluid communication between the water tank and the water line and wherein the control unit (6) is arranged for automatically activating an anti-freeze mode by activating the fluidic interrupter (7) in fluidic interruption position and by miming the pressure pump (4) to at least partially empty the water line (5) from water contained therein.

Beverage supply apparatus 100 has tank 3, heating device 6 for heating pipe L31 in milk supply pipe L3 through which a beverage (milk or foamed milk) flows, and first pump 7. When the beverage supply is completed, apparatus 100 fills pipe L3 with water, and enters into a standby state. A water passage structure includes a water heating device and a brewing head. The brewing head includes a drainage inlet, a water passage chamber, a drainage outlet and a water supply channel. The water passage chamber is communicated with the drainage inlet and the drainage outlet. The water supply channel is located adjacent to and isolated from the water passage chamber. The drainage inlet and a water inlet of the water supply channel are each controllable to be communicated with a water outlet of the water heating device. A method for heating water in a machine for making and dispensing beverages, the machine having a device with at least one heating metallic duct and a winding of electromagnetic induction. The device is part of a heating and feeding assembly wherein, by a logical unit, a method is carried out which, for every beverage type the machine can dispense, the temperature of heated water is brought to a specific temperature value that can be selected by the user.

Pumping system (100) for a beverage preparation device comprising a reservoir (10) for storing a liquid; pumping means (30) for pumping the liquid from the reservoir (10) to a beverage preparation means (50) of the beverage preparation device; and pressurizing means (20) for injecting air in the system (100); wherein the pumping system (100) further comprises one motor (40) driving both the pumping means (30) and the pressurizing means (20); the system further comprising engaging means (60) configured to engage or disengage the pumping means (30) as a function of the direction of rotation of the motor (40).
