COOKING VESSEL LID WITH DRAINING AND STEAM REGULATION FUNCTIONALITY
A lid system for use with a container having an opening bounded by a rim, with at least one outwardly extending projection extending from the rim, includes a lid and a lid cover member. The lid is sized to seat on the rim of the container and includes an upper surface, at least one section with perforations extending therethrough, and a centrally disposed lid handle. The lid cover member is sized to seat adjacent the upper surface of the lid around the lid handle. The lid cover member is rotatable about the lid handle to substantially close or expose the at least one section with perforations. The lid cover member includes at least one bracket for mating with the at least one outwardly extending projection on the rim of the container to retain the lid on the container during a draining process of the container.

Popcorn pot designed to gravitate oil and kernels to the center of heat source
A popcorn pot having a curvilinear body providing a paraboloid-shaped cavity for gravitationally concentrating a quantity of un-popped kernels and a depth of oil over a bottom center of the popcorn pot. The curvilinear body provides volumetric containment inside the paraboloid cavity. Integral footing along a lower portion of the popcorn pot stabilizes the curvilinear body over a flat-top heat source so that the bottom center is disposed centrally thereover. The popcorn pot may include a domed lid for covering the opening communicating to the paraboloid-shaped cavity, wherein the lid is adapted to effectuate convection heating within the cavity, thereby providing natural efficiency and universal accessibility with more predictable results than a flat-bottomed pot, while using less oil for healthier results.

COOKWARE ASSEMBLY
A cookware assembly including a cooking vessel with a vessel side wall and an elongated handle extending outwardly from the sidewall, a cover, an opening in at least one of the vessel side wall and the cover in an area above the elongated handle, and a utensil, where the handle of the utensil rests in relation to the elongated handle and the opening permits the utensil component to reside in the interior of the covered cooking vessel when the cover is on the cooking vessel. The cover can be placed on the cooking vessel in a plurality of positions, to allow the utensil to pass to the interior of the cooking vessel, to allow pouring from the cooking vessel with the cover on, and to seal the cover on the cooking vessel without the utensil. An auxiliary vessel can also be included as part of the cooking assembly.

Apparatus and method for removing non-condensable gases from a steam generator
An apparatus for removing non-condensable gases from a self-contained or closed loop steam generator is provided. The apparatus is connected to an appliance, which includes the self-contained or closed loop steam generator. The apparatus may be configured to include a control system connected to various portions of the apparatus to provide for automatic removable of non-condensable gases from the steam generator. However, it should be understood that the apparatus can be operated manually. The removal of non-condensable gases occurs prior to generating steam for a cooking process with the apparatus attached directly to the appliance, or with the apparatus configured as a separate unit.
