In this solution, the cooking appliance is additionally provided with the water container, which is detachably installed on the water retaining surface, the upper cover is opened after the cooking appliance finishes cooking, condensed water mixed with food residue or soup flows onto the water retaining surface from the upper cover and then flows into the water container along the water retaining surface.
