Embodiments include systems and methods for heating materials, including heating materials for cooking and soldering. A representative system and method for cooking food includes passing electric current through the food, sensing a characteristic of the food, and modulating the electric current in response to the characteristic of the food to achieve a selected internal temperature of the food. The system and method can include searing the food with hot oil or photons directed at the surface of the food. A representative system and method for heating a material includes modulating a plurality of semiconductor light sources to emit photons toward the material, measuring a temperature of the material, and modulating the plurality of semiconductor light sources in response to the temperature of the material. The material can include solder and the method can include heating solder in a reflow soldering process.

Circulator cooker with alarm system
09826855 · 2017-11-28 · ·

A sous-vide circulator cooker that sounds an audible alarm when the system raises the temperature of the water to a determined temperature. The sous-vide circulator cooker includes temperature sensors, heaters and a pump to circulator temperature controlled fluids. The system also contains a speaker or buzzer that can play alarms or music when the system comes to a predetermined temperature. In at least one embodiment, the sous-vide circulator can also distinguish between self-heating and user-induced temperature changes, and will sound alarms accordingly.

COORDINATED COOKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20230172393 · 2023-06-08 ·

The cooking coordination method includes: determining a menu S110; determining available resources S 120; determining a cooking schedule based on the menu S130; and instructing the resources according to the cooking schedule S140. The method can optionally include: monitoring cooking progress S150; and determining instruction completion S160. The method functions to automatically coordinate a set of resources to cooperatively cook a menu (e.g., recipe set). Invariants, the method functions to coordinate the set of resources such that cooking is completed at the same time.

Dynamic Power Management System, Method And Temperature Control For Conditioners

Disclosed is a conditioner to condition nutritional substances with conditioning programs that power conditioning elements for percentage of the time of a repeating temporal cycle. During each temporal cycle, each required conditioning element may be activated for only a percentage of the full time of the temporal cycle. The conditioner includes temperature controls that are responsive to sensor feedback from the conditioner and that modify the conditioning element activation during the cycles.

CONTROLLING HEAT CAPABILITY OF APPLIANCE ACCORDING TO USER PROXIMITY AND NOTIFYING REMOTE USERS VIA INTERNET FOR INCREASED SAFETY

A stove controller starts an unattended timer when a cooking process is started. The controller monitors whether motion is detected in the kitchen prior to the unattended timer expiring and resets the unattended timer each time motion is detected. If the unattended timer expires without any motion being detected, the controller disables the heating elements of the stove and starts a return timer. The controller monitors whether motion is detected in the kitchen prior to the return timer expiring. When motion is detected, the controller automatically re-enables the heating elements of the stove so that cooking can continue. If motion is not detected and the return timer expires, the controller locks the stove until a reset procedure is performed. Alerts of the stove activity are sent to external devices over the Internet, and the reset procedure may be performed on the controller or on one of the external devices.

GENERATING METHOD, PROCESSING METHOD AND EXECUTING METHOD OF DATA AND DEVICE

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a generating method of data, a processing method of data, an executing method of data and device thereof. A user can create required structured data by means of a terminal device, even if the user does not understand the working principle of an Internet-of-Things device and an instruction code. The terminal device can convert execution sequence data into structured data that can be executed by the Internet-of-Things device and provide the structured data for the Internet-of-Things device, so that the Internet-of-Things device can directly execute a corresponding operation according to a state control instruction in the structured data, thereby improving the structured data custom extension capability of the Internet-of-Things device while meeting user requirements.

METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PRESENTING SAFETY-BASED TEMPERATURE STATUS NOTIFICATIONS FOR GRILLS
20230165405 · 2023-06-01 ·

Example methods and apparatus for presenting safety-based temperature status notifications for grills are disclosed. An example grill includes a controller to determine whether a condition indicative of a safety-based temperature status of the grill is satisfied. In response to determining that the condition is satisfied, the controller is to instruct a lighting module or a user interface of the grill to present a notification indicating the safety-based temperature status.

Countertop cooking appliance
11259497 · 2022-03-01 ·

A countertop cooking appliance is an apparatus that is used to manufacture food, particularly cheeses, with controlled heating, mixing, drainage, and pressure cycles. The apparatus is also configured to accept various cooking patterns for different foods based on different recipes. A perforated drainer is used to hold ingredients for mixing, completed cheese curds, and the finalized cheese product. A processing receptacle is a container that holds the perforated drainer and temporarily stores whey and process byproducts. A byproduct receptacle is a storage unit for whey and other liquid byproducts produced in the cheese development process. A fluid pump applies pressure to fluids collected in the processing receptacle, transferring them to the byproduct receptacle. A linear actuator provides mechanical power to one of several detachable food-interacting heads, which consequently chops, mixes, or otherwise agitates the contents of the perforated container.

PORTABLE COOLER CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL

An actively heated or cooled food container can have a lid movable between an open and a closed position and an insulated body to which the lid can be attached. The insulated body can have a sidewall that defines a perimeter of the container body and a base, the sidewall and base defining one or more chambers that can be sealed by the lid. The food container can have a temperature control system that can include one or more heating or cooling elements in thermal communication with one or both of the sidewall and the base and operable to heat or cool one or both of the sidewall and the base to thereby heat or cool the one or more chambers in the food container.
