In some embodiments, the portable fire pit also includes a cover that converts to a table, as well as a suspension grate to hold firewood and a grill rack to hold food above the fire pit. The grill rack may be configured to be located at different heights above the fire pit, and may also be configured to rotate between positions directly over and to the side of the fire pit.
Kamado-style cooker with pellet feed
Exemplary embodiments of a kamado-style cooker configured for use with pelletized fuel are disclosed. Certain embodiments include a cooking space above a firebox space. Various novel aspects of the cooker provide for thermal energy management within the firebox space such that temperature sensitive components of a wood pellet storage, delivery and combustion subsystem (e.g., electronic controllers, motors, pellet hopper and auger) may be housed within the firebox space, I.e., housed internal to the ovoid structural envelope of the cooker.
Rotating barbecue grill
The rotating barbecue grill comprises a trailer, a pedestal, an elevated platform, a supporting structure, and a plurality of grills. The trailer is a towed vehicle. The pedestal, the elevated platform, the supporting structure, and the plurality of grills mount on the trailer. The trailer is configured to be towed by a vehicle. The pedestal attaches the elevated platform to the trailer such that the elevated platform rotates relative to the pedestal and the trailer. The supporting structure attaches the plurality of grills to the elevated platform such that the plurality of grills are elevated above the trailer. The supporting structure attaches the plurality of grills to the elevated platform such that the plurality of grills rotate relative to the pedestal and the trailer. Each of the plurality of grills are enclosed metal structures used to cook food.
Fireplace grill insert assemblies
Fireplace grill insert assemblies suitable for deployment in a fireplace having a fireplace interior and a fireplace frame having a bottom frame panel in the fireplace interior may include an insert assembly frame. At least one grill panel may be supported by the insert assembly frame. At least one frame securing assembly may be provided on the insert assembly frame. The at least one frame securing assembly may be configured to facilitate detachable securement of the insert assembly frame to the bottom frame panel of the fireplace frame and cantilevered support of the insert assembly frame in the fireplace interior of the fireplace as one or more food items are cooked on the grill panel over a fire in the fireplace interior.
Grill Cleaning Tool Assembly
A grill cleaning tool assembly for effectively cleaning rounded grills and smokers includes a curved ash scoop apparatus and a curved ash scraper apparatus. The curved ash scoop apparatus comprises a scoop back having an arcuate scoop back bottom edge conforming to the contour of a rounded grill or smoker. A scoop body is coupled to the scoop back and extends from a scoop back bottom edge perpendicular to a scoop back front side. A scoop handle is coupled to the scoop back back side. The curved ash scraper apparatus comprises a scraper blade having a blade front side, a blade back side, a blade top edge, and a blade bottom edge. The blade bottom edge is arcuate and conforms to the contour of the scoop back bottom edge. A scraper handle is coupled to the blade back side.
Measured dosing and spray bottle for multi-use applications and associated method of using
Embodiments include a bottle and method for cleaning a grill. An exemplary method may be applied to grills having an upper grill and a lower grill. Methods can include providing a bottle having a dosing chamber with a first outlet, a reservoir chamber configured to store a solution and including a second outlet, and a sprayer for dispensing solution via the second outlet. The sprayer includes a spray head and a trigger that, when actuated, draws solution from the reservoir chamber and dispenses it by spraying the solution from the spray head. Methods can include filing the dosing chamber with a predetermined dose of solution from the reservoir chamber and dispensing the solution onto the lower grill from the first outlet, and dispensing the solution onto the upper grill by spraying the solution onto the upper grill from the second outlet.
Apparatus and method for isostatic roasting of an upright animal carcass
An animal carcass cooking and roasting assembly and method of use in an oven, the assembly including a base tray, a liquid container mounted on and connected to the tray in a rack in a spaced apart upright position, the container arranged to receive a substantial amount of heat by conduction from the tray by the use of a tray and container connecting thermal via, the container arranged to fit within an open end of the carcass and wherein the opposite end of the carcass is tightly plugged or closed to form an isostatic chamber to contain liquid evaporated from the container within the carcass during the cooking process.
Portable grills
Portable grills are disclosed. An example portable grill includes a frame, a leg unit, and a leg latch assembly. The leg unit is coupled to the frame. The leg latch assembly includes a post rigidly coupled to the leg unit, and a swing plate pivotally coupled to the frame. The swing plate includes an opening to receive the post when the portable grill is in a collapsed configuration. The opening includes a first post-receiving portion having a first diameter, and a second post-receiving portion having a second diameter less than the first diameter. The swing plate is pivotable to selectively locate the post in the first post-receiving portion or the second post-receiving portion. The swing plate is separable from the post when the post is located in the first post-receiving portion, and inseparable from the post when the post is located in the second post-receiving portion. The leg latch assembly latches the leg unit in a fixed position relative to the frame when the post is located in the second post-receiving portion, and unlatches the leg unit from the fixed position when the post is located in the first post-receiving portion.
Electric grill appliance and heating element therefor
An electric grill with a cooking surface for cooking food, which cooking surface has at least two adjacent heating zones is disclosed. Each heating zone of the grill is assigned a first electrical heating element 8 for heating the cooking surface in this heating zone, H.sub.1, H.sub.2. A second heating element 9 is arranged in a subset of the heating zones (H.sub.1) for increasing the heating power in this heating zone (H.sub.1) with a power input that at least matches that of a first heating element 8 of another heating zone (H.sub.2). The grill 1 has a heating element switchover feature, such that, when a second heating element 9 is switched on in a heating zone H.sub.1 with two heating elements 8, 9, a power corresponding to the power input of the second heating element 9 that is switched on or to be switched on is switched off on first heating elements 8 in one or more other heating zones H.sub.1, or switching on such power is blocked.
