RACK HOLDER
A rack holder configured to securely hold a rack or tray used to hold food items during cooking is described. The rack holder may include bracket with a lower lip and a top lip. The bracket may be affixed to a support bar with an offset portion extending downward. The support bar may also include a handle support portion where one or more handles are affixed to the rack holder. The rack holder may provide a fitting engagement with a rack to remove the rack from a cooking environment and to transport the rack to another preparation station.
Outdoor seafood boiling apparatus
An outdoor food frying apparatus includes a frame having a pot support, a burner element supported upon the frame, and a pot that removably fits the frame. The pot has end walls, a rear wall, a front edge portion, and a bottom wall. A basket is pivotally attached to the pot rear wall with one or more hinges. The basket is correspondingly sized and shaped to fit the pot interior. The basket is movable about the hinge between cooking and food discharge positions. The lid is pivotally attached to the pot. The lid is movable between a cooking position wherein the lid covers the pot upper opening and food discharge position wherein the lid rotates at least 180 degrees from said cooking position, forming a tray for receiving food discharged from the basket. A steamer plate can optionally be connected to the basket at the basket rim and/or basket side walls.
AUTOMATED FRYER SYSTEM WITH A DELAMINATING FOOD DISPENSING SYSTEM
An automatic fryer system includes a fry basket; a fryer unit having a fry vat for housing heated cooking oil and receiving the fry basket; the fryer unit including a rear wall having a fry basket hooking member located thereon for parking the fry basket; a horizontal drive system for moving the fry basket in a horizontal direction; a vertical drive system, operatively connected to the horizontal drive system, for moving the fry basket in a vertical direction; an end effector for grasping and holding the fry basket; a food product loading unit for loading food product into the fry basket; and a controller, in operational communication with the horizontal drive system; the vertical drive system, and the end effector, to control a location and an orientation of the fry basket.
AUTOMATED FOOD PREPARATION SYSTEM
Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to food preparation systems and associated automated gantry systems. An example automated food preparation system may include a housing that supports one or more baskets therein and a gantry system. The gantry system may include a retrieval arm and a drive system operably coupled with the retrieval arm. The drive system may cause movement of the retrieval arm in at least two directions relative to the housing. In operation, the retrieval arm may engage a basket and cause movement of the basket about the housing. In some instances, an ejection mechanism is provided that receives the basket from the retrieval arm and causes removal of the contents of the basket.
Cooking apparatus
The invention features a cooking apparatus having a number of compartments for the cooking of different foods under different cooking conditions. Aspects of embodiments of the contemplated invention include a lid portion, an upper portion that is vertically retractable and removably engaged with a bottom portion. The cooking apparatus is modular and, as such, enables the use of multiple cooking apparatuses for the steaming and/or boiling of different foods within the same pot or cooking unit at the same time.
Fry Basket with Ergonomic Handle
A fry basket with ergonomic handle is provided. The fry basket with ergonomic handle has a plurality of wires forming a wire frame. The wire frame defines a base receptacle that retains and receives a wire mesh basket therein. The base receptacle has a pair of open sidewalls, a lower front wall, a higher rear wall, and an upper open horizontal wall. The plurality of wires of the higher rear wall converge as they extend upwardly to form a generally vertical connection portion that connects the higher rear wall to a handle portion. The handle portion, in turn, extends rearwardly from the higher rear wall at a zero-degree angle with respect to at least one upper horizontal wire of the upper open horizontal wall. The handle portion also has a grip portion.

An apparatus includes a first portion having a first handle and a first side of a clip, the first side includes an first retaining plate having a front surface and a back surface, the back surface includes a first plurality of protrusions that extend from the back surface, a second portion that has a second handle and a second side of the clip, the first side includes a second retaining plate having a front surface and a back surface, the back surface includes a second plurality of protrusions that extend from the back surface, the first plurality of protrusions and the second plurality of protrusions are aligned such that they are brought together to secure a portion of a food item when the apparatus is in a food gripping position.

FRYING UNIT
A frying unit, comprising an oil pan (1) which is essentially open on top, a transport unit (2), using which a basket (3) is movable from a filling position into the interior of the oil pan (1) and using which the basket (3) is movable from the interior of the oil pan (1) into an emptying position, wherein the oil pan (1) is designed in such a way that it can accommodate multiple baskets (3) simultaneously, and the transport unit (2) is designed in such a way that the baskets (3) are movable independently of one another.
