Grinder device
An apparatus for grinding a mineral includes a head operable to be attached to a bottle. The head includes a radial slider for controlling the coarseness of the grind. The apparatus further includes an inner grinding element, an outer grinding element, a shaft, and a neck sleeve. The inner grinding element is in communication with the head. The outer grinding element is also in communication with the head, wherein the outer grinding element and the inner grinding element are operable to rotate relative to each other. The shaft extends through the inner grinding element and the outer grinding element. The shaft couples with the inner grinding element and comprises a blunt end. The shaft also extends through the neck sleeve, which acts as a spacer between the inner grinding element and the blunt end.
Automatic calibration process for coffee grinder-doser apparatuses with weighing device and electronic grinder-doser apparatus
Automatic calibration process for electronic grinder-doser apparatuses of coffee in beans provided with an electronic weighing device directly connected to the logic control unit of the apparatus, wherein the grinding times necessary for obtaining the requested dose weight in grams of ground coffee are pre-set, the process being aimed at periodically checking the quantity of coffee actually ground, re-calculating and re-setting the grinding times in the logic unit. The process particularly comprises a first phase (Phase A) of start, a second phase (Phase B) of sampling by multiple short and long detections, a third phase (Phase C) of processing by compensation calculation and a fourth phase (Phase D) of self-adjustment, the second, third and fourth phases (Phases B-D) being totally automatic, that is to say, being sequentially carried out by the electronic grinder-doser apparatus as automatic procedures by the logic control unit.

Coffee grinder
A coffee grinder has a housing that includes a ring burr, a shaft extending through the ring burr, a frustoconical burr, and an interlocking plug. An internal bore of the frustoconical burr has an upper cylindrical surface adjacent the top end, an interlocking portion adjacent the bottom edge, and a tapered side surface. The interlocking plug is shaped to extend through the internal bore of the frustoconical burr, and includes an upper cylindrical portion that fits through the upper cylindrical surface, and a lower portion that includes a sidewall surface which is also tapered such that the sidewall surface interlocks with the side surface of the frustoconical burr.

Spice grinder
A grinder assembly removably connectable to a container of a spice dispenser includes a stationary grinder component and a rotatable grinder component associated with said stationary grinder component to define a grinding chamber between a portion of said stationary grinder component and a portion of said rotatable grinder component. The rotatable grinder component is rotatable relative to said stationary grinder component about a grinding axis. The grinder assembly additionally includes a first feature for coupling the grinder assembly to said container and a second feature movable to selectively decouple the grinder assembly from the container.
SYSTEMS FOR GRIND DURATION ADJUSTMENT FOR GRINDERS
A grinding system that includes a grinder attached to a grind size adjustment ring. Also, a potentiometer attached to the grind size adjustment ring, so as to provide a grind size measurement to a controller. The controller selects a grinding duration based upon the selected grind size measured by the potentiometer.

COFFEE GRINDER-DOSER WITH REPOSITIONABLE SYSTEM FOR INDICATING THE POSITION OF THE MEANS FOR ADJUSTING THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE GRINDERS
A coffee grinder-doser includes a grinder-doser body enclosing a grinding chamber which houses first and second mills configured and mutually positioned to grind coffee beans into powder. An external ring-nut which is gripped and rotated by an operator integrally connects to the first mill. A nut screw with a longitudinal axis, inside the grinding chamber, is engaged with an external thread of the ring-nut to translate the first mill along the longitudinal axis. The ring-nut includes a ring-nut body and indices defining the angular position thereof. The grinder-doser body includes a fixed reference for the indices. The ring-nut is associated with a graduated ring having the indices, and a cover at least partially removable to lock the graduated ring between the cover and the ring-nut. The cover is fixed to the ring-nut body by a partially removable couple for adjusting and locking the angular position of the graduated ring.
