Cooking system

A cooking system includes a kitchen utensil and a cooking hob, wherein the kitchen utensil is provided with one or more sensors arranged on the kitchen utensil. The sensors include acceleration sensors, gyroscopic sensors, and inclination sensors. The cooking appliance is provided with a control unit configured to receive data from the sensors and to elaborate information on how the kitchen utensil is being used, and to control the cooking appliance accordingly.

The inner edge of the slanted base rises slightly above the grill under the vertical support wall. Heat is directed into the central cooking area and away from the skewer tip and handle exposed to the outside area of the opposing racks. The chef's rack has a horizontal groove with a locking lip to lock a food laden skewer in either an up or a down orientation. Vertical slots provide the skewer to be locked at a 90-degree orientation. At the top of the rear rack are semi-circle grooves. The independent racks can be separated to accommodate any length skewer or nested together.

The spring biased connector configured such that once the waffle batter is cooked, the waffle tong device can be removed from the waffle maker and allowed to open whereupon the resultant stuffed waffle can be removed from the waffle tong device. Handle portions can be applied to the connector to allow for manipulation of the waffle tong device without risk of burns.
