Universal lifter for toilet seat and lid

A bi-functional, touch-free lifter for toilet lid and seat with structure that enables joint lifting of the toilet seat and lid and separate lifting of the lid from the seat. The lifter comprises handle for manual holding of the lifter, engagement part for engaging with the lid, lower support of lifting the seat and flexible neck at the intersection between the handle, engagement part and lower support. The lifter prevents contact with parts of the toilet with high risk for carrying contamination left after use and indirect transfer to other users. Further, users are provided with better sanitary conditions and feeling when not required to be physically exposed to possible contamination accumulated on the toilet seat and lid. Rather only a small area of a user thumb lightly contacts the lifter of the present invention, thus minimizing the exposure to potential contamination.

The hinge is configured so that the toilet seat is transitionable from an up position to a down position. A lifting system is configured to raise the toilet seat towards the up position. A sealed hinge housing has at least a portion of a delay system therein. The delay system is configured to cause a time delay before the lifting system causes the toilet seat to self-lift towards the up position. The delay system is configured so that the time delay begins after removal of a threshold downward force on the toilet seat.

The first planetary carrier includes a protrusion extends along a trajectory of the revolution of the shaft part. The shaft part contacts the protrusion. A gap is formed between the shaft part and a part of the first planetary carrier other than the protrusion.

A mirror assembly includes a mirror substrate, a sensor, and a controller. The mirror substrate is configured to provide a reflection of objects including a user. The sensor is configured to collect sensor data from the user. The controller is configured to analyze the sensor data and select an auxiliary command for an auxiliary device coordinated with the mirror assembly. The auxiliary command is selected for the user.

The exposed surface is positioned below a central plane of the bottom plate and positioned outward of a central plane of the sidewall part.
