A tab for a toilet seat/cover is used to provide an alternative, more sanitary mechanism for lifting a toilet seat or a toilet seat cover. The apparatus is also configured to attach to any shape or variety of toilet seat or seat cover. The apparatus comprises a flexible base, a handle, a fixture, and a fastening mechanism. The flexible base is a rubber or other generally flexible material capable of bending to fit the shape of a variety of seats and surfaces. The handle is a graspable protrusion extending from the base that provides a convenient and intuitive mechanism for interacting with the apparatus. The fixture is the joint that connects the handle to the flexible base. The fastening mechanism is the component which allows the flexible base to connect to toilet seats, lids, and surfaces.

Electric opening and closing device

An electric opening and closing device that opens and closes a toilet seat or lid by a torque output to an output member includes: a motor; a reduction gear mechanism having gear members including a gear member of a spur tooth and transmitting the torque of the motor to the output member; and a torque limiter that includes a first rotating member rotating integrally with a first gear member rotating by the torque among the gear members, a second rotating member rotating integrally with a second gear member connected to the output member via the gear member of the spur tooth or the output member, and a friction member engaged with one of the first and second rotating members, and that generates a slip between the friction and other rotating members to interrupt the transmission of the torque when a torque exceeding a value acts on the output member.

MIRROR

A mirror assembly includes a mirror substrate, a sensor, and a controller. The mirror substrate is configured to provide a reflection of objects including a user. The sensor is configured to collect sensor data from the user. The controller is configured to analyze the sensor data and select an auxiliary command for an auxiliary device coordinated with the mirror assembly. The auxiliary command is selected for the user.

Toilet apparatus

A toilet apparatus according to an embodiment includes a toilet seat, a main part, a toilet, a tank, and a radio wave sensor. The toilet seat is pivotally supported by the main part to be openable and closable. The toilet is provided under the main part. The main part is placed on the toilet. The tank is provided inside the toilet. Water for washing the toilet is stored in the tank. The radio wave sensor is disposed higher than the tank. The radio wave sensor detects a human body by radiating a radio wave frontward of the main part.

A lift and tilt support apparatus includes opposed scissor lift assemblies. Each scissor lift assembly includes a base, an upper frame, and scissored first and second legs, each having opposed top and bottom ends. The bottom end of the first leg is pivoted to the base, and the top end of the first leg is mounted to the upper frame for reciprocal movement. The top end of the second leg is pivoted to the upper frame, and the bottom end of the second leg is mounted to the base for reciprocal movement. The top end of the first leg reciprocates in a direction skewed from the top end of the second leg. The bottom end of the second leg reciprocates in a direction skewed from the bottom end of the first leg.

UNIVERSAL LIFTER FOR TOILET SEAT AND LID
20180344108 · 2018-12-06 ·

A bi-functional, touch-free lifter for toilet lid and seat with structure that enables joint lifting of the toilet seat and lid and separate lifting of the lid from the seat. The lifter comprises handle for manual holding of the lifter, engagement part for engaging with the lid, lower support of lifting the seat and flexible neck at the intersection between the handle, engagement part and lower support. The lifter prevents contact with parts of the toilet with high risk for carrying contamination left after use and indirect transfer to other users. Further, users are provided with better sanitary conditions and feeling when not required to be physically exposed to possible contamination accumulated on the toilet seat and lid. Rather only a small area of a user thumb lightly contacts the lifter of the present invention, thus minimizing the exposure to potential contamination.
