Corrosion-resistant reservoir for an e-vaping device and method of manufacturing thereof
Example embodiments relate to a method of protecting a surface of an e-vaping device portion from corrosion, the method including preparing a coating mixture configured to protect the surface from corrosion, and coating the surface with a protective coating based on the coating mixture, wherein the coating is performed via one of electrodeposition, dipping, spraying, and vapor deposition, and the coating mixture includes at least one of a silane and a resin.
Antireflective synthetic brochosomal coatings
Synthetic brochosomes can be prepared by disposing a monolayer of first polymer microspheres on a substrate and forming a layer of metal on the monolayer of the first polymer microspheres. A monolayer of second polymer microspheres is then disposed on the layer of metal to form a template. The second polymer microspheres are smaller than the first polymer microspheres. A brochosome material is then electrodeposited on the template. The brochosome material is selected from the group consisting of a metal, a metal oxide, a polymer or a hybrid thereof. The first polymer microspheres and the second polymer microspheres are then removed to form a coating of synthetic brochosomes of the brochosome material on the substrate.

PROCESS FOR COATING A GUIDE
The process for coating a guide comprises at least the steps of: supplying a guide (1) made of metallic material and comprising an outer surface (2, 3) provided with a first portion (2) adapted to slide a carriage (4) and a second portion (3) separate from the first portion (2); depositing a first coating layer (9) on the first portion (2) and on the second portion (3); cataphoretic painting the guide (1) adapted to deposit a second coating layer (12) onto the first portion (2) and onto the second portion (3) on top of the first coating layer (9); and removing the second coating layer (12) from the first portion (2).
Coating for applicators in electrosurgery
A method of applying at least one coating of at least one electrically insulating polymer to an applicator for currents, especially HF currents in surgery, the coating is produced by electrophoretic deposition from a suspension of the polymer in at least one organic solvent, wherein the applicators thus coated are especially clamps, pairs of tweezers or pairs of scissors which are used in the bipolar application technique of HF surgery. Polymers used are especially thermoplastic polymers, such as thermoplastic fluoropolymers, and more particularly polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) or ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE).
CATIONIC ELECTRODEPOSITION COATING COMPOSITION
A cationic electrodeposition paint composition comprising a cationic base-containing resin (A), a blocked polyisocyanate compound (B), and a modified imidazole (C) having a specific structure, wherein the cationic base-containing resin (A) is a cationic base-containing epoxy resin and/or a cationic base-containing acrylic resin.
SOLUTION COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR SINGLE-BATH POST TREATMENT OF SUBSTRATE
Disclosed is a solution composition which may be used for a single-bath electrochemical passivation and a method using the same. The solution composition includes a metal cation, a metal-oxide anion; and an organic ligand, and optionally includes a non-metallic oxide anion or a polymer. The solution composition may prevent undesired precipitation of metal oxides before performing passivation. In addition, the method of passivation using the solution composition in a single-bath use is also provided.
