ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATIC SWIMMING POOL CLEANERS
A cleaning system for swimming pools and spas may include an automatic swimming pool cleaner and an anti-theft system for the automatic swimming pool cleaner. In some cases, the anti-theft system may be an active system generating an active response based on a safety situation. Additionally or alternatively, the anti-theft system may provide increased prevention and/or deterrence to theft.
ROBOT CLEANER
A robot cleaner having a shielding module provided under a cleaner body is provided. The shielding module includes a cam and a hiding plate which rotate with the same phase angle about a same rotating shaft. The distance between the center of the hiding plate and the center of the rotating shaft is longer than the distance between a contact point on a cam surface of the cam and the center of the rotating shaft. A guide protrusion of a bumper is in contact with the cam surface at the contact point. Therefore, the rotation movement speed of the hiding plate which rotates to hide a cliff sensor is much faster than the inner movement speed of the bumper, thereby improving sensitivity to the detection of a collision between the bumper and an obstacle by using the cliff sensor.
Vacuum cleaner motor assemblies and methods of operating same
A controller for a vacuum cleaner includes a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions that program the processor to operate a motor at a first power level, receive a temperature of a drive component associated with the motor from a temperature sensor, and compare the temperature of the drive component associated with the motor to a first threshold temperature. The processor operates the motor at a second power level lower than the first power level for a period of time when the temperature of the drive component associated with the motor is greater than or equal to the first temperature threshold, and continues operating the motor at the first power level when the temperature of the drive component associated with the motor is less than the first temperature threshold.

A robot cleaner includes an intake port, a shock detection sensor, a camera, a memory, and a processor. The memory may include an artificial intelligence model trained to identify an object, and the processor may, based on the object being ingested by the intake port, identify an image obtained within a preset time before the object is ingested, among a plurality of images obtained through the camera and identify the object according to the artificial intelligence model. Thereby, a user may be informed that the robot cleaner has ingested the object.

The motor assembly includes a motor, an impeller, an impeller housing, and a controller. The impeller is connected to the motor and operable to generate airflow upon operation of the motor. The impeller housing is constructed of an electrically-conductive material. The impeller is positioned within the impeller housing. The controller includes a circuit board assembly. The circuit board assembly including a common circuit, and the impeller housing is electrically connected to the common circuit.
HAND CARRYABLE SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus has a cyclone chamber provided in an air flow path. The cyclone chamber has a screen assembly with an outlet section, a longitudinally spaced apart distal section and a longitudinally extending porous section.
