Full recovery tank shutoff

A cleaning system comprising a vacuum source, a current sensor, a recovery tank having a shutoff float configured to float on a surface of fluid within the recovery tank, and a controller. The vacuum source is in fluid communication with a suction inlet via first and second air paths within the recovery tank. The shutoff float is further configured to block the first air path upon the fluid within the recovery tank reaching a desired level. The controller is configured to receive, from the current sensor, a signal indicative of the current drawn by the vacuum source. The controller is further configured to determine, based on the current drawn by the vacuum source crossing a threshold, the fluid within the recovery tank has reached the desired level and control an operating element of the cleaning system upon determining the fluid within the recovery tank has reached the desired level.

A control system includes a cleaner dispensing system and a computing device. The cleaner dispensing system includes a cleaner dispensing apparatus having a dispenser device configured to operate to dispense a cleaning composition. The cleaner dispensing system includes a cartridge configured to detachably couple with the cleaner dispensing apparatus to provide a cleaning composition held in a cartridge reservoir to the dispenser device. The cartridge includes a cartridge indicator configured to indicate a particular cartridge identifier code associated with the cartridge. The computing device is configured to detect the particular cartridge identifier code based on obtaining cartridge information from the cartridge indicator and to transmit an apparatus enable command signal to the cleaner dispensing apparatus, to cause the cleaner dispensing apparatus to selectively enable operation of at least the dispenser device, in response to a determination that the particular cartridge identifier code matches an authentic cartridge identifier code.

ROBOT WITH ROTATIONAL/TRANSLATION MOVEMENT

In one embodiment, a robot is described which uses pads for both operating on a surface and movement of the robot. The pads are tilted about a single axis. In one embodiment, the pads are slightly curved. In one embodiment, three pads are used. By using an odd number of pads (e.g., 3) with one rotating in an opposite direction, translational movement can be achieved by using non-center contact points without varying the tilt angle and angular velocity of the pads to achieve a translation direction.

A grout cleaning assembly includes a housing that has a handle portion and a suction portion. A scrubbing unit is rotatably attached to the housing and the scrubbing unit is positioned on the suction portion. Thus, the scrubbing unit scrubs a grout from a support surface. A first port is coupled to the handle portion. The first port may be fluidly coupled to a fluid source thereby facilitating the first port to directing a fluid onto the scrubbing unit. A second port is coupled to the handle portion. The second port may be fluidly coupled to a vacuum thereby facilitating the second port to suctionally urge the fluid and the grout into the vacuum when the scrubbing unit scrubs the grout from the support surface.

FLOOR TREATMENT APPARATUS

The present invention relates generally to an apparatus for cleaning or otherwise treating a floored surface that includes a platform adapted to support the weight of an operator. In addition, one embodiment of the present invention is capable of generally performing 360 degree turns to facilitate the treatment of difficult to access portions of the floored surface.

SURFACE TREATING MACHINE WITH CONTROLLED DELIVERY
20180242809 · 2018-08-30 · ·

A surface treatment machine, comprising a frame configured to translate with respect to a surface to treat, a surface treatment element connected to said frame and configured to treat with liquid a surface, a reservoir connected to the frame to provide liquid to the surface treatment element through a delivery mouth; an adjustment element arranged to feed adjustably the liquid supplied from the reservoir to the delivery mouth. A sensor is configured to measure an operating parameter P of the machine, such as the level of residual liquid in the reservoir, or the flow-rate of the liquid from said reservoir towards the delivery mouth, or the speed of the machine. A control unit receives by the sensor a signal proportional to operating parameter P and for adjusting the adjustment element responsive to operating parameter P, in order to deliver the liquid according to a predetermined function f(P) of optimization of the flow-rate. It is possible then to maximize the range of the machine, and to optimize the working time of the operator.
