A robotic cleaner may include a chassis, a single drive wheel rotatably coupled to the chassis, the single drive wheel being configured to rotate about a steering axis and a drive axis, an agitator chamber having an agitator rotatable therein, and a cleaning motor assembly configured to cause the agitator to rotate and further configured to cause air to flow into the agitator chamber.

An autonomous floor cleaner can include a housing, a drive system for autonomously moving the housing over the surface to be cleaned, a controller for controlling the operation of the autonomous floor cleaner, a tank adapted to hold liquid, and a carry handle joined with the tank and/or the housing. The carry handle is movable between a stowed position and a carry position. The carry handle can include one or more capturing assemblies such that the carry handle can be selectively rotated between different orientations allowing for one or more of: locking/securing the tank to the housing, activating/deactivating the floor cleaner based on handle position; carrying the entire floor cleaner; ejecting the tank from the housing; carrying the tank separately; and emptying the tank.

A surface cleaning apparatus, such as a fluid delivery or steam mop, comprises a handle assembly comprising a steam distributor and a foot assembly pivotally attached to the handle assembly and comprising a base housing. The foot assembly can be used in two positions, whereby opposing sides of a cleaning pad on the base housing can selectively engage a surface to be cleaned. The foot assembly is further swivelable relative to the steam distributor, such that fluid can be delivered to the surface to be cleaned in both of the two use positions.

A cleaning robot includes a housing, a camera rotationally connected to the housing, and power component mounted on the housing. The power component includes a motor and a gear set, and is connected to the camera via the gear set, and the motor is configured to drive the camera to rotate around a rotation axis via the gear set. The present disclosure provides, in one aspect, an autonomous cleaning robot including a body, a drive operable to move the body across a floor surface, and a circuit board mounted below an upper surface of the body of the autonomous cleaning robot. The autonomous cleaning robot also includes one or more electrical contacts, a base of each electrical contact being mounted on the circuit board and a contact tip of each electrical contact being configured to protrude through a corresponding opening in the upper surface, wherein each electrical contact comprises a double curved structure to allow the electrical contact to be vertically flexible. The autonomous cleaning robot also includes a hinged lid including one or more contact pads, the one or more contact pads being configured to contact corresponding electrical contacts protruding through the upper surface as the lid is opened or closed.

A robot cleaner includes a first cleaning module including left and right spin mops configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise when viewed from above while being in contact with a floor, and a second cleaning module including a rolling member configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise when viewed from a left side while being in contact with a floor, the rolling member being spaced apart from the left and right spin mops in an anteroposterior direction. A controller controls rotational motion of the left and right spin mops and rotational motion of the rolling member.

A supply device for supplying a device that can be moved on a driving surface with a material supplied through a supply line. The supply device has a plug with an electric plug contact element that extends along a plug axis and is coupled to a plug receptacle of the mobile device by a linear joining movement, and a supply line with a valve, and detects a coupled state of the plug with the plug receptacle by an electric plug contact element. In the coupled state the valve is actuated. The supply device has a nozzle arranged on the supply line and is coupled to an inlet port of the mobile device. A feeding holder keeps the nozzle and the plug in a defined position and orientation relative to each other so that when coupling the plug to the plug receptacle the nozzle couples to the inlet port. The movement device makes the feeding holder with the plug and nozzle at least height adjustable and movable in the direction of the joining movement along a joining axis. The detection system determines a position of the plug receptacle. The supply device couples the plug to the plug receptacle and thereby the nozzle to the inlet port by a linear joining movement along the joining axis based on the determined position.

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes task lighting. The task lighting can be provided on a hand-carried body or housing of the apparatus, on a hand tool of the apparatus, or both. The task lighting can be adjustable, and can be directed to illuminate a desired location.

A robot cleaner includes a rolling cleaning module including a rolling member configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise when viewed from a left side while in contact with a floor, a sensor unit, and a controller configured to detect a change in position of the robot cleaner and a change in load current of a motor connected to the rolling member based on data detected by the sensor unit. When there is a change in position and a change in load current, a specific area of a floor is determined to be a contaminated area.

The invention relates to a cleaning apparatus. The cleaning apparatus includes at least one cleaning tool for cleaning an object to be cleaned, an operating unit for a user, which includes at least one operating element for operating the cleaning apparatus, a control unit for processing operating instructions, a receptacle, arranged on the operating unit, for an external accessory that can be associated with the cleaning apparatus and that has a display device with an image display, wherein the accessory is removably positionable in the receptacle in a defined position, as well as a communication unit by way of which display information for being displayed on the image display are transmittable from the cleaning apparatus to the accessory positioned in the receptacle. The invention also relates to a cleaning system.
