In Situ Fluid Diffusion Apparatus and System
Some embodiments are directed to a tunnel device for use in single pass sand filtration (SPSF) systems, including curved lateral walls which meet at an apex channel having a flat top, an open bottom, and side vented walls. The interaction between the characterizing components and vertically streamed treated wastewater from a pressurized pipe results in the maximized lateral transport of the treated wastewater towards the side vented walls and the adjacent soil strata therethrough which contains aerobic microbial communities able to decompose organic wastewater material thereby delivering enhanced wastewater treatment and water volume reductions through evapotranspiration.
TAIL WATER DECENTRALIZED TREATMENT AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
The present invention provides a tail water decentralized treatment and drainage system of sewage treatment plant, comprising a riparian vegetation buffer zone, a subsurface flow constructed wetland and a riverside protection pile, the riparian vegetation buffer zone comprises an excavation protection slope and an ecological bag paved on the excavation protection slope. The subsurface flow constructed wetland is disposed on the river protection slope along the river flow direction, the subsurface flow constructed wetland is provided with a treatment system, a water drainage system and a plurality of outlet pipes disposed along the river flow direction. The present invention is novel in idea and reasonable in design. By constructing a subsurface flow constructed wetland on the slope of the river bank after repositioning, the vegetation buffer zone and the subsurface flow constructed wetland are skillfully combined, and the tail water of sewage treatment plants is purified and treated through the subsurface flow constructed wetland. It is particularly suitable for changing the condition of single drainage outlet for the sewage treatment plant constructed near the river, with strong practicability.
Tree Box Filter with Hydromodification Panels
The invention provides structures, methods, and assemblies for bioretention systems, including tree box filters with substantially permeable panels integrated into a bottom portion of the tree box filter. The invention also provides methods and additional structures that are useful for managing stormwater flow and inhibiting the flow of pollutants, debris, and other contaminants into drainage systems.
RECONFIGURABLE LEACHING MODULE
Reconfigurable water leaching modules are provided herein. These modules may comprise a plurality of dosing conduits and a plurality of leaching channels fluidly coupled to the dosing conduits where the leaching channels are reconfigurable from a first retracted position to a second extended position and where the leaching channels may hang downwardly from the dosing conduits in the second extended position.

Ground Water Filtration System
Systems and methods for a ground water filtration system are described. The ground water filtration system includes paver blocks designed to facilitate liquid seepage between the paver blocks and to route the seepage to a preferred area. A filter may be utilized to remove undesired particulates in the seepage prior to routing. The ground water filtration system additionally provides at least one layer of stone to facilitate flow direction of the seepage. At least one geogrid fabric is also provided to further enhance ground water filtration.
Wastewater leaching system
Methods, apparatus, and systems involving high aspect ratio conduits are provided. These may involve a plurality of high aspect ratio leaching channels that may be spaced a predetermined distance apart from each other. The predetermined distance can facilitate backfilling of the volumes of adjacent high aspect ratio leaching channels. The backfill may be sand as well as other materials.
WATERSHED STORMWATER MANAGEMENT THROUGH A BIOBASED BIODEGRADABLE NUTRIENT AND SEDIMENT RETAINING WATER FILTRATION TUBE WITH EROSION CONTROL
Disclosed are a method, device and system of a watershed stormwater management through a biobased biodegradable nutrient and sediment retaining water filtration tube with erosion control. In one aspect, a method of watershed stormwater management system includes forming the biobased filtration tube from a nontoxic renewable domestic agricultural material. The method ensures a diameter of the biobased filtration tube to approximately 10% greater than a field deployment to prevent shrinkage caused by ambient conditions, retains a sedimentary pollutant, and places the biobased filtration tube along the perimeter of a site. A filter material of the biobased filtration tube helps preventing high concentrations of sedimentary pollutant from getting into the streams. The biobased filtration tube captures and treats stormwater that runs off as sheet flow. The biobased filtration tube is utilized in the vegetated form. Vegetation grew into a slope at the site anchors the biobased filtration tube in an environment.
SUBSURFACE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM
A subsurface sewage disposal system includes leaching members oriented substantially vertically and positioned in a non-linear arrangement. A first volume is defined within the leaching members by a permeable enclosure configured to provide temporary storage of an effluent introduced by a distribution pipe. A plurality of balancing pipes is configured in a non-linear arrangement to redistribute the effluent from one leaching member to another leaching member. As the effluent rises within one leaching member, the effluent is redistributed by the balancing pipes to another leaching member. In the event of a failure of the distribution pipe, the plurality of balancing pipes is configured to bypass the distribution pipe and redistribute the effluent to the leaching members downstream of such failure.
Stormwater Biofiltration System and Method
A stormwater treatment system and method for removing sediment, chemical pollutants, and debris from stormwater runoff by utilizing bioretention practices including physical, chemical and biological processes. Stormwater is directed into a primarily open-bottomed, multi-dimensional container whereby entrained sediment and other transportable materials are filtered and treated through a media filter layer consisting of inorganic and/or organic materials. A live plant (preferably a tree) situated within the container with roots resident in the media filter layer with the ability for expansion beyond the perimeter of the container through openings in one or more sidewalls The treated water may be further conveyed beyond the perimeter of the container by additional openings and/or piping. A vertically positioned overflow/bypass/clean out piping apparatus may be included within the stormwater treatment system to provide additional water conveyance. Additional ancillary conveyance, filtration and storage facilities may be connected to the described stormwater treatment system as conditions warrant.
