Systems and methods for engaging brakes on a robotic device are disclosed herein. According to exemplary embodiments, a user-controlled input device of the robotic device may configure a braking system to engage or disengage based on the user-controlled input device being engaged or disengaged by a user and the robotic device receiving a certain threshold of power. The user-controlled input device being engaged enables a human operator to move the robotic device.

A cleaning device comprises a handle (14) and a cleaning head (12) which is movable on a surface to be cleaned, wherein said cleaning head (12) comprises at least one rotatable cleaning roller (16, 18) and a first lip element (22) arranged adjacent to a first suction gutter (32) which can be subjected to negative pressure by means of a suction pump (44), and said cleaning head (12) comprises a second lip element (24) arranged adjacent to a second suction gutter (32) which can be subjected to negative pressure by means of the suction pump (44). The first lip element (22) and the second lip element (24) are each movable between a raised position and a lowered position, and the handle (14) is pivotable such that in a first position of said handle (14) relative to the cleaning head (12), the first lip element (22) is in the lowered position and the second lip element (24) is in the raised position, and in the second position of said handle (14) relative to the cleaning head (12), the first lip element (22) is in the raised position and the second lip element (24) is in the lowered position.

Hot plate cleaner for floors including a handgrip, a handle, a tank for water, a main body shaped as a brush, a heating plate below the brush and a thermostat, and cleaning fabrics for the floor hooked below a sealing frame, adapted to be hooked and unhooked below the brush, with the interposition of a sandwich panel maintained in contact with the heating plate having a layer of polyurethane foam, placed between two polyester fabrics, and a waterproof element applied to the panel to let the water flow from the tank scatter on the sandwich panel to dampen it so to act as a tank in order to reach the same temperature as the heating plate and keep it unchanged until the panel dries and transmit the same temperature to the cleaning fabric.

A burnisher for cleaning and polishing floors is provided. The burnisher includes at least one electric motor powered by at least one battery. The at least one battery can be provided as one or more lithium ion batteries. The burnisher is configured to rotate a burnisher pad at various speeds, as selected by the operator. The burnisher includes a control area including various input and output devices that can control the burnisher and provide information regarding operational parameters of the burnisher, respectively. The control area further includes a touchscreen display that allows the operator to direct the operation of the burnisher.

The present invention relates to a floor surfacing machine (1) comprising a frame (2) that is carried by a first wheel (3) and a second wheel (4). The floor surfacing machine (1) further comprises a first motor (6), a handle arrangement (7), at least one planetary head (15) that is rotatably mounted to the frame (2) and at least one satellite surfacing head (19, 20, 21) that is rotatably mounted to the planetary head (15), where the first motor (6) is arranged to propel the planetary head (15). The floor surfacing machine (1) comprises a first control unit (10), and a remote control panel (11) which in turn comprises a second control unit (12) that is arranged to communicate with the first control unit (10). The floor surfacing machine (1) also comprises a second motor (22) that is arranged to propel the satellite surfacing heads (19, 20, 21) such that the planetary head (15) and the satellite surfacing heads (19, 20, 21) are independently operable.

A machine for cleaning surfaces comprises a main body and a handle portion configured to move the main body along a determined advancing direction. The main body is equipped with a cleaning brush positioned adjacent to the surface to be cleaned, and a first and a second squeegee element positioned at opposite sides of the cleaning brush. The main body provides, furthermore, a first and a second suction mouth positioned at the first and the second squeegee element, respectively, connected to a suction device by a suction circuit.
