The robot maintenance station also includes an air mover in pneumatic communication with the evacuation passageway and a collection bin carried by the station housing and in pneumatic communication with the evacuation passageway. The station housing and the robot body fluidly connect the evacuation passageway to the cleaning bin of the received robot. The air mover evacuates debris held in the robot cleaning bin to the collection bin through the evacuation passageway.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A surface cleaning apparatus includes an upright body and a base adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned, a fluid delivery system, and a recovery system. The surface cleaning apparatus can be configured to clean multiple surfaces, including hard and soft surfaces, and for different cleaning modes, including wet cleaning, dry vacuum cleaning, and self-cleaning. Methods for self-cleaning a surface cleaning apparatus are also provided.
Coverage robots and associated cleaning bins
An autonomous coverage robot includes a chassis, a drive system configured to maneuver the robot, and a cleaning assembly. The cleaning assembly includes a cleaning assembly housing and at least one driven sweeper brush. The robot includes a controller and a removable sweeper bin configured to receive debris agitated by the driven sweeper brush. The sweeper bin includes an emitter disposed on an interior surface of the bin and a receiver disposed remotely from the emitter on the interior surface of the bin and configured to receive an emitter signal. The emitter and the receiver are disposed such that a threshold level of accumulation of debris in the sweeper bin blocks the receiver from receiving emitter emissions. The robot includes a bin controller disposed in the sweeper bin and monitoring a detector signal and initiating a bin full routine upon determining a bin debris accumulation level requiring service.
AIR CLEANER
An air cleaner disposed in an indoor space is disclosed. The air cleaner according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a blowing device including a suction port and a discharging port, a fan motor configured to cause air flow, a purification unit installed in the blowing device to clean air, a flow conversion configured to change a flow direction of air discharged from the discharging port, a communication unit configured to communicate with a moving agent moving in the indoor space, and a processor configured to receive feature information collected by the moving agent and associated with a structure of the indoor space, obtain a type of the indoor space by using the feature information, and control an operation of at least one of the fan motor and the flow conversion device by using the type of the indoor space to adjust at least one of an operation mode, a wind direction, and a wind volume.
Robot cleaner
Disclosed is a robot cleaner. The robot cleaner comprising: a cleaner main body defining an external appearance of the robot cleaner, a suction unit provided in the cleaner main body for suctioning air containing dust, a dust separation unit for separating the dust from the air suctioned through the suction unit, and a fan unit connected to the dust separation unit for providing suction force to the suction unit, wherein the fan unit includes: a drive motor, a first chamber surrounding the drive motor and provided with a first suction hole and a first exhaust hole, and a second chamber surrounding the first chamber and provided with a second suction hole and a second exhaust hole, wherein the fan unit includes a cover placed at an upper side of the second suction hole for preventing noise generated from the drive motor from being emitted through the second suction hole, and wherein the cover includes: a cover part for blocking a path of noise transmitted through the second suction hole; and a support part for seating the cover part on a top of the second chamber.
Robotic vacuum cleaner and docking station for a robotic vacuum cleaner
A robotic vacuum cleaner has a mechanical transfer mechanism that is used to transfer dirt from the robotic vacuum cleaner to a docking station.
EXTRACTOR CLEANING MACHINE
An extractor cleaning machine includes a supply tank configured to store a cleaning fluid and a base configured to be movable along a surface to be cleaned. The base includes a suction nozzle and an aperture configured to spray the cleaning fluid onto the surface. The extractor cleaning machine also includes a recovery tank in fluid communication with the suction nozzle and a suction source in fluid communication with the suction nozzle and the recovery tank. The suction source is configured to draw the cleaning fluid through the suction nozzle and into the recovery tank. The extractor cleaning machine further includes a body pivotally coupled to the base between an upright position and an inclined position. The body includes an outlet in fluid communication with the suction source such that an airflow generated by the suction source is discharged from the outlet toward the surface.
