Apparatus and methods for cold-shaping glass sheets
An apparatus for cold-shaping a glass sheet that includes: a plurality of vacuum chucks configured within a moveable table; a first automated pick mechanism proximate the table; an automated dispensing mechanism proximate the table; and a pressing apparatus. The first pick mechanism is configured to shape a glass sheet onto one of the chucks. The dispensing mechanism is configured to dispense a curable adhesive onto the glass sheet or a frame. One of the first pick mechanism and the dispensing mechanism is configured to position the frame onto the glass sheet such that the adhesive is disposed between the glass sheet and the frame. The pressing apparatus is configured to press the frame and the adhesive onto the glass sheet to define a finished glass sheet assembly. The glass sheet is bendable at ambient temperature. Methods for cold-shaping a glass sheet are also included in the disclosure.
3D cover glass, mold for molding same, and method for manufacturing 3D cover glass
A 3D cover glass, having a polygonal shape in a plan view which corner part may comprise a rounded portion, and containing a central part being flat plane, and curved parts each with a three-dimensional curved surface having a curvature radius of 100 mm or less on peripheries of at least two of the sides of the polygonal shape, wherein the 3D cover glass shows the maximum value of retardation per 1 mm thickness being 16 nm/mm or less when measured by irradiating a light having a wavelength of 543 nm onto the central part orthogonally.
METHOD, DEVICE, AND SYSTEM FOR GLASS BENDING
The computer-implemented method for glass bending includes obtaining a deviation of a real shape of a glass from a desired shape of the glass, the glass is produced by a glass bending process; determining a variation of at least one parameter associated with the glass bending process, at least in part based on the deviation of the real shape from the desired shape; and adjusting the at least one parameter based on the variation for compensation of the deviation.

METHOD FOR SHAPING COATED GLASS SHEETS
A method for shaping a coated glass sheet involves conveying the coated glass sheet through a furnace to heat the coated glass sheet to a temperature suitable for shaping. The coated glass sheet is then deposited on a first bending tool for supporting the coated glass sheet and is at a first position relative to the first bending tool. A first portion of the coated glass sheet is contacted to move the coated glass sheet to a second position relative to the first bending tool. The coated glass sheet is then shaped on the first bending tool. Other aspects include a method for adjusting the position of a hot coated glass sheet on a bending tool and a shaping line for shaping a coated glass sheet comprising a positioning device for contacting a first portion of a coated glass sheet on a bending tool to adjust the position thereof.
