No fiber calcination of gypsum for gypsum fiberboard
The present disclosure relates to no fiber calcined gypsum and methods of making the same using a multi-stage (typically two-stage) calcination process. The first stage is a high temperature calcination and nucleation stage. The second stage is a lower temperature calcination and crystal growth stage which produces product slurry containing calcined gypsum particles having large, acicular calcined gypsum crystal morphology for use in making gypsum fiberboard.

Lightweight gypsum products having enhanced water resistance
The product is produced from a settable aqueous calcium sulphate dispersion which has a water to solids ratio of less than 0.4 to 1, and has distributed therethrough lightweight hollow bodies having water-impervious surfaces (such as expanded polystyrene beads). The dispersion contains a hydratable cement (such as calcium sulpho aluminate) which is capable of hydration in the presence of the calcium sulphate dispersion. The hydratable cement is such that it reacts with excess water in the dispersion thereby enhancing the water resistance of the resulting product.

GYPSUM-CONTAINING COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a composition comprising at least one binder based on calcium sulfate and at least one polymer obtainable by polymerization of monomers based on alkoxylates of S-vinylthioalkanols. Furthermore a molding, in particular a gypsum plasterboard, a gypsum wallboard, a screed or a knifing filler, obtained by setting of the composition of the invention is disclosed.
CONSTRUCTION CHEMICAL FORMULATION
The present invention relates to a quick and low-stress setting chemical formulation for construction, containing at least one binding agent on the basis of calcium sulfate, at least an ettringite-forming agent, at least one activator, at least one filler, at least one redispersable dispersion powder and optionally additives and to the use of the chemical formulation for construction for producing thin-layered balancing masses, self running and solid fillers, screed binding agents or screed mortars, tile adhesive mortars, jointing mortars and sealing sludges.
Fire resistant compositions and articles and methods of preparation and use thereof
Disclosed herein are fire resistant compositions and articles, for example, in the form of boards, insulation, sheeting, blocks, panels and similar materials of construction. Also disclosed are methods of preparing fire resistant compositions and articles and methods of use thereof.

Dispersant for inorganic particles
The invention relates to dispersants for inorganic particles, preferably for hydraulic binders, which comprises the following structural units: i) at least one triazine structural unit, ii) at least one polyalkylene glycol structural unit, and iii) at least two phosphoric ester structural units on at least one carbon atom of one or more aromatic triazine rings of the formulae (IIa) and/or (IIb):
N(CH.sub.2CH.sub.2OPO.sub.3H.sub.2).sub.2,(IIa)
and
NHCH.sub.2CH.sub.2OPO.sub.3H.sub.2.(IIb) The invention also relates to a process for preparing the dispersants, to building material mixtures comprising one or more dispersants and one or more inorganic binders. The invention relates to the use of the dispersants as a water reducing agent, as a means for reducing the viscosity and for enhancing the early strengths of aqueous inorganic binders, and also to the use as a grinding aid in the production of cement.
FLEXIBLE CEMENTITIOUS WATERPROOFING SLURRY
The present invention relates to novel cementitious slurries that remain flexible after hardening.
