DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A dishwasher includes a dishwasher interior for washing items to be washed with washing liquor. Arranged at a lower end of the dishwasher interior is a pump sump for collecting the washing liquor, and a sensor is arranged in the pump sump for outputting a sensor signal as a function of a presence of washing liquor at the sensor. A control apparatus configured to carry out a washing program selected from a number of washing programs is designed to determine a malfunction of a component of a hydraulic assembly as a function of the sensor signal and of a current operating state of the dishwasher.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A MULTIFUNCTIONAL HOUSING
A dishwasher appliance includes a sump that collects wash fluid and defines a mounting port for receiving a sensor assembly. The sensor assembly includes an adapter that defines a plurality of sensor ports for receiving different sensors, such as a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, and a turbidity sensor. The adapter is translucent to facilitate turbidity sensing without introducing leak points. In addition, the adapter defines an internal chamber for receiving the wash fluid and an air chamber defined above the internal chamber to prevent direct contact between the wash fluid and the pressure sensor.
LEAK DETECTION AND PREVENTION DEVICE
A liquid leak detection and prevention device comprised of a leak detection apparatus positioned near a water-dependent appliance to monitor for moisture due to a leak, and a leak prevention system connected to the leak detection apparatus in fluid communication with a water pipe attached to the water-dependent appliance and positioned in-line with the water pipe is disclosed.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher with an improved door structure. The dishwasher includes a cabinet having a washing tub and a door installed at one side of the cabinet to open and close the washing tub, wherein the door includes a door member in which an electrical component is installed, a handle member installed on the door member to form a handle, and a water discharge channel allowing water to be discharged to outside of the door through the door member and the handle member.
Dishwasher appliance equipped with flood protection
A dishwasher appliance equipped with flood protection features that proactively attempt to prevent, stop, and/or mitigate flood events is provided. The dishwasher appliance may also include features for determining the cause of the flood event. Moreover, methods for flood protection of the dishwasher appliance are also provided.
Coupling arrangement for a domestic appliance, a device for a domestic appliance, and a domestic appliance
Examples are disclosed that relate to a coupling arrangement (36) for a domestic appliance (2), comprising: a connection piece (16) that has a channel (5) for transporting a fluid on its inner side, and a shoulder (18) on its outer side; an elastic bushing (19) that is pushed onto the connection piece (16) in an assembly direction (M), the bushing (19) having, on its inner side, a first shoulder (21) which engages behind the shoulder (18) of the connection piece (16), and a second shoulder (22) on its outer side; and a corrugated hose (26) that comprises, on an end section (28) thereof and on its inner side, a shoulder (35) which engages behind the second shoulder (22) of the bushing (19).
HYDRAULIC CONTROL DEVICE FOR LIQUID-CONDUCTING APPLIANCES AND SYSTEMS
A hydraulic control device for liquid-conducting appliances and systems is designed for connection between a source of liquid and an appliance or system using the liquid. The hydraulic control device (1) comprises: a device body (2, 3) having a duct for the liquid (30a, 30b) that extends between an inlet connector (2a) and an outlet connector (3 a); a flow meter (40, 50) associated to the device body (2\ 3); and a valve arrangement (31, 33-37) associated to the device body (2, 3), including a valve member (31), which is displaceable between an opening position and a closing position of the duct for the liquid (30a, 30b), and a control mechanism (33-37) for controlling the valve member (31). The control mechanism (33-37) is switchable on the basis of a detection made by the flow meter (40, 50) in order to displace the valve member (31) from the opening position to the closing position of the duct for the liquid (30a, 30b). The flow meter (40, 50) is a non-mechanical flow meter that includes at least two electrical detection elements (42) that are reachable by liquid that flows in the duct for the liquid (30a, 30b).
SAFETY DEVICE AGAINST LEAKS OF LIQUID FOR LIQUID-CONDUCTING HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES
A safety device against leaks of liquid for a liquid-conducting household appliance comprises a valve arrangement that can be electrically switched between a closing position and an opening position, to prevent or enable, respectively, a flow of liquid from a liquid-supply source to the household appliance. The device further comprises:a first pipe (13) impermeable to liquid, for the flow of liquid,at least one hydraulic unit (12), having a duct for the liquid (30),a flow sensor in the at least one hydraulic unit (12). The first pipe (13) is connected in fluid communication with the duct (30) and extends longitudinally at least in part within a second pipe (14) that is impermeable to liquid, in such a way that defined between at least part of the first pipe (13) and of the second pipe (14) is a gap (G) having a proximal end and a distal end. The at least one hydraulic unit (12) has a respective hydraulic body (16) that defines the duct (30). The flow sensor is a non-mechanical flow sensor that includes at least two electrical detection elements (42) within the duct (30).
