Quick-wash feature for dishwasher appliance
A dishwasher appliance including a quick-wash feature. A secondary door attached is attached to a main door and forms a quick-wash compartment. A quick-wash assembly provides fluid for cleaning. Articles may be supported on the secondary door during cleaning or may be manually supported by the user at the quick-wash assembly. Various modes of operation may be used for cleaning including wash and rinse functions.

Disclosed herein is a dishwasher. The dishwasher includes a main body, a tub provided inside the main body, a basket provided inside the tub to store items, an injection assembly configured to spray water to wash the item in the basket, and a duct including a first body configured to supply water to the injection assembly and provided to extend along a first direction, and a second body to which water flows and provided to extend from the first body to along second direction. The duct is formed by coupling of a first housing provided to form at least a portion of the first body and the second body, and a second housing provided to form another portion of the first body and the second body.
Apparatus for separating chemistries in a door-type dishmachine
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes at least two tanks and methods of using the tanks to isolate, substantially isolate, or incrementally isolate different chemistries from each other during a cycle. The disclosed dishmachine design and method allows for the use of two different, and potentially incompatible, reactive, or offsetting chemistries to be used in the same dishmachine cycle.
Dish washing machine with heat exchangers
A dish washing machine including a housing having an interior wash space for washing dishes. The housing has a liquid inlet for adding a liquid to the dish washing machine. At least one rotating spray nozzle sprays the liquid onto dishes positioned within the interior wash space. The machine further includes a heating tank for heating the liquid which is supplied to the at least one rotating spray nozzle for spraying onto the dishes in the interior wash space. Two heat exchange systems are within the housing. The two heat exchange systems transfer heat from the liquid heated by the heating tank to the liquid added to the dish washing machine from the liquid inlet. A first one of the two heat exchange systems passes heat from water in the wash tank or the interior wash space to water in the first one of the two heat exchange systems.
Compact dishwasher for cleaning a few eating utensils
A compact dishwasher for cleaning a few eating utensils includes a wash container disposed on a base. A clean water tank is disposed on the base and in fluid communication with the wash container for supplying clean water to the wash container. A wastewater tank is disposed on the base and in fluid communication with the wash container for receiving wastewater from the wash container. A housing body encompasses the wash container, the clean water tank, and the wastewater tank. The dishwasher can further comprise a first pump for facilitating pressurized discharge of clean water in the wash container and a second pump disposed for facilitating drainage of wastewater from the wash container into the wastewater tank. A heating coil can be employed to provide hot water to the wash container. The dishwasher can further include a cleaning basket insertable through the top of the dishwasher.
METHOD OF ULTRASONICALLY CLEANING A VESSEL
A method of cleaning a vessel including the steps of: a) providing a cleaning reservoir having a plurality of chambers each for holding a cleaning fluid; b) filling a first chamber of the cleaning reservoir with a cleaning fluid; c) ultrasonically cleaning one or more vessels in the first chamber using the cleaning fluid; d) transferring the cleaning fluid from the first chamber to a second chamber of the cleaning reservoir; and e) ultrasonically cleaning one or more vessels in the second chamber by reusing the cleaning fluid transferred from the first chamber and used to clean the one or more vessels in the first chamber.

Provided is a dishwasher having an improved structure capable of selecting whether to spray wash water. The dishwasher includes a washing tub, a basket provided in the washing tub to accommodate dishware, a duct provided in the washing tub to be supplied with wash water, a sub-duct mounted on the basket to guide the wash water, a connection pipe connected to the sub-duct, and a spray nozzle coupled to the connection pipe to be rotatable from a first position where the connection pipe is open and a second position where the connection pipe is closed.

A dishwasher having a water pump, a water conduit connected to the water pump for distributing water in the dishwasher tub, a door for closing and opening the dishwasher, and a detergent dispenser located on the inside of the door. The detergent dispenser comprises a closeable cavity for receiving a detergent, an outlet into the tub, and a sealed dispenser water inlet configured to be detachably connected to the water conduit when the door is closed. Operation of the pump causes pressurized water to be directed directly to the inside of the detergent dispenser while the detergent dispenser is in a closed state.

The dishwasher includes a case accommodating a cleaning target therein, a sump connected to an interior of the case to collect wash water, a wash pump into which the wash water flows from the sump, and generating steam, a steam nozzle into which the steam flows from the wash pump, and spraying the steam into the case, and a bubble filter disposed on a steam path between the wash pump and the steam nozzle to remove a bubble in the steam path.

The gas dissolution chamber has a vent opening, a liquid inlet, and a liquid outlet, the bypass member has a gradually contracting section, a throat part, and a gradually expanding section which are connected in sequence from a bypass inlet to a bypass outlet; the bubbler is connected to the liquid outlet, the bypass inlet or bypass outlet of the bypass member is connected to the liquid inlet to supply liquid into the gas dissolution chamber, and the throat part is connected to the vent opening or a gas storage space in the gas dissolution chamber.
