DISHMACHINE
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes one or more features directed to water, energy or material savings. The disclosed dishmachines are still capable of meeting the soil demands of the articles to be cleaned.
Domestic appliance for the cleaning of household items
A domestic appliance is proposed, in particular a dishwasher (1), a washing machine or similar, with a water supply unit comprising a water supply line (2) for the supply of water, in particular for the supply of drinking water from the drinking water network, wherein the water supply unit has at least one first actuation element (3), in particular a water inlet valve (3) for purposes of opening and/or closing the water supply line (2), wherein a process water unit (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14) is provided for the process water of the domestic machine, wherein at least one decoupling unit (5), in particular an air gap (5), is provided between the process water unit and the water supply unit for purposes of decoupling the process water of the domestic appliance from the water supply line (2), in particular from the drinking water network, so that the water supply line (2) comprises at least one first opening (6) designed as a water outflow opening (6), which at least partially eliminates the disadvantages of the prior art, and in particular has a higher operational reliability with regard to disturbances in the water flow. This is inventively achieved, in that at least the water supply line (2) comprises at least one second opening (7), wherein the second opening (7) is designed as an air inflow opening (7) for the inflow of air into the water supply line (2).
DISHWASHER WITH DUAL WATER ENTRY MODE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING WATER SUPPLY MODE THEREOF
Provided is a dual-mode water inlet dishwasher, comprising a shell, and an inner container, a spraying arm, a washing pump, a heating washing pump, and a respirator water tank which are provided in the shell. A water trough is provided in the inner container. A water inlet of the water trough is connected to the respirator water tank. A water outlet of the water trough is connected to the heating washing pump. The heating washing pump is connected to the spraying arm. The spraying arm sprays water to the inner container. The dishwasher integrates the functions of breathing, dual-mode water channel, anti-overflow and drainage. Also, the dishwasher has the features of simple structure, multi-function, and easy and convenient installation to facilitate the use by users.
WASHING APPLIANCE
A washing appliance configured to heat water supplied to the washing appliance by utilizing heated process water drained from a compartment of the washing appliance arranged to accommodate goods to be cleaned. The washing appliance comprises a tank configured to contain the water being supplied to the compartment of the washing appliance, a valve configured to be in fluid communication with said tank to control a flow of the water contained in the tank being supplied to the compartment of the washing appliance, a fresh water conduit extending inside the tank, the fresh water conduit being configured to transport the water supplied to the washing appliance, a drain water conduit configured to transport the drained heated process water, the drain water conduit being arranged to extend inside, and coaxially with, the fresh water conduit inside the tank.
CHEMICAL DOSING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a chemical dosing system for an appliance, such as a laundry washing machine or a dishwashing machine, having a water inlet, the system comprising a meter for determining the volume of water supplied to the appliance, a pump for dispensing a quantity of a chemical to the appliance and a control unit arranged to receive a signal from the meter and to cause to be dispensed to the appliance a volume of chemical that is proportional to the quantity of water supplied to the appliance. The disclosed system may enable a correct quantity of chemical to be automatically dispensed to many types of appliance, without the need to know anything about the appliance, or to derive electrical signal from the appliance.

Drain box and funnel
A drain box having a housing, a splash containment therein with a lower portion within a housing drain aperture, and a discharge conduit having a lower portion positioned within the splash containment in position above the drain aperture and extending upward through splash containment aperture, and an upper portion extending upward through a housing upper aperture and terminating above the housing upper portion for connection to an appliance discharge conduit. The conduit being attached to the housing to prevent a lower discharge conduit end from moving downward toward the drain aperture to less than a predetermined minimum distance above the housing drain aperture.
DISHWASHER
A box-type dishwasher (1), wherein the dishwasher (1) has a fresh-water connection (20) with a feed valve (21), wherein a water-treatment system with a reverse-osmosis device (22) is provided downstream of the feed valve (21) in order to treat, in particular as required, as least some of the fresh water fed to the dishwasher (1) via the fresh-water connection (20), wherein a backflow preventer (6) is provided between the feed valve (21) and the reverse-osmosis device (22) in order to prevent water from flowing back from the dishwasher (1) into a fresh-water-supply installation (100) which is, or can be, flow-connected to the fresh-water connection (20).
WATER CHARACTERISTIC SELECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods are described, which relate to the control of additive dispensers to provide defined amounts of one or more additive compounds to water to produce customized water. A given additive dispenser may include multiple inputs and/or outputs. Predefined water profiles may be stored in memory. A given water profile may define the amounts of additives to be delivered by the additive dispensers to achieve desired water characteristics. A controller may determine actual water characteristics of input water based on corresponding sensor data, and may compare the actual water characteristics to desired water characteristics in order to determine the amount of additive or additives that should be delivered to the input water to achieve the desired water characteristics. The additive dispensers may be network-enabled and may include transceivers configured to receive instructions related to production of customized water from a user device.
Method of operating a dishwasher
A method for removing moisture from moist air in an appliance, such as a treating chamber of a dishwasher, wherein a drying system includes a condensing system and heat exchange systems that enhance condensation with both ambient air and cold water. The method includes storing cold water for use during a cycle of operation; recirculating the moist air in the treating chamber through a condenser; during the recirculating, flowing ambient air over the condenser; and during the recirculating and after the flowing ambient air, flowing the cold water over the condenser.
