The first end includes a connecting portion for connecting the cradle member to the support member and the second end includes an engaging portion for securing the support member to the cannula assembly.
Image recording and reproduction apparatus, image recording method, and endoscope system
An image recording and reproduction apparatus includes: a record data generation circuit configured to generate record data based on an inputted video signal; an operation input device configured to receive a signal generated based on an operation of one or more persons, for one or more operation instructors that accept an operation for adding chapter information to the video signal; an operation system determination circuit configured to determine at least one of the operation instructor generating the signal received by the operation input device, and a person performing the operation, and output a determination result; and a first processor configured to cause the record data generation circuit to generate the record data that associates the chapter information with the video signal, by generating chapter information of a chapter type based on the determination result of the operation system determination circuit, and supplying the information to the record data generation circuit.
System and method for providing a single use imaging device for medical applications
A system and methods for providing and reclaiming a single use imaging device for sterile environments is disclosed and described. The system may include a single use high definition camera used for general purpose surgical procedures including, but not limited to: arthroscopic, laparoscopic, gynecologic, and urologic procedures, may comprise an imaging device that is a sterile and designed to ensure single use. The imaging device may have a single imaging sensor, either CCD or CMOS, encased in a housing.
Display system for capsule endoscopic image and method for generating 3D panoramic view
The present disclosure relates to a display system including a capsule image view, a 3D mini-map, and a 3D panoramic view, and a method of generating a 3D panoramic view. Specifically, according to the present disclosure, it is possible to infer the shape of an organ using a 3D mini-map and to simultaneously identify whether or not the capsule endoscope captures the images, and information on the position and posture of the capsule endoscope at primary captured points by visualizing the actual movement path of the capsule endoscope, thereby improving the accuracy of examination, and since multiple 2D images captured by a single capsule endoscope are able to be viewed as a single 3D panoramic image without changing the structure of the capsule endoscope, it is economical and the viewing angle of the image is able to be increased, thereby reducing the examination time and fatigue of the examiner.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GENERATING CLARIFIED AND ENHANCED INTRAOPERATIVE IMAGING DATA
The present disclosure relates generally to medical imaging, and more specifically to machine-learning techniques for clarifying and enhancing intraoperative images. The system can receive one or more intraoperative images depicting a biological tissue and smoke; input the one or more intraoperative images into a trained neural network to obtain a clarified image depicting the biological tissue that is less obscured by smoke than at least one of the received one or more intraoperative images; enhance, using an equalization algorithm, contrast in the clarified image to obtain an enhanced clarified intraoperative image; and display, on a display, the enhanced clarified intraoperative image, which can be used for decision making within or outside surgeries.
VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPE IMAGE FILE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A video laryngoscope system acquires images that can, in embodiments, be recorded and stored in a memory of the video laryngoscope. In an embodiment, the video laryngoscope can be operated in an automatic recording mode, and the acquired images are recorded automatically with no further user input and stored in a memory of the video laryngoscope. If the video laryngoscope is paired to a wireless hub, the acquired images are automatically transferred to the wireless hub in response to a power off user input. Other recording modes may use manual inputs to initiate recording and storing of the acquired images.
Sampling capsule and sampling capsule system
The present invention provides a sampling capsule and a sampling capsule system. The sampling capsule includes an enclosure, a partition wall arranged in the enclosure, and a sample chamber enclosed by the partition wall and the enclosure at a first side of the partition wall. The sampling capsule further includes an inner sample inlet on the partition wall, an outer sample inlet, a sampling tube and a switch assembly. The outer sample inlet is on the enclosure at a second side of the partition wall. The sampling tube connects the outer sample inlet and the inner sample inlet, and the switch assembly clamps or unclamps a portion of the sampling tube. When sampling is needed, the switch assembly unclamps the sampling tube to sample liquid. When sampling ends, the switch assembly tightly clamps the sampling tube to prevent sample liquid leak or contamination.
Vision Sensor Apparatus
A hand-held vision sensor apparatus comprises a plurality of light sources, control activation elements and an image sensing array, encased within a housing such that the control activation elements are disposed at a user-accessible location on the housing. The housing further includes a pair of exit apertures for emitting illumination directed toward a medical specimen and an entrance aperture for capturing reflected light from the medical specimen. The light sources are disposed in alignment with the pair of exit apertures, and the image sensing array is aligned with the entrance aperture. The control activation elements are utilized to energize the light sources and control the functioning of the image sensing array. A computer port may be included and used to communicate command controls to the light sources, image sensing array and control activation elements in a manner that allows for a remotely-located technician to communicate with the hand-held vision sensor.
Endoscope apparatus and method of operating endoscope apparatus
An endoscope apparatus includes a light source apparatus, an image processing circuit configured to subject a first image or a second image obtained by irradiating first or second narrow band light to predetermined image processing and output the image, and a control circuit configured to perform control to acquire signal intensity information about a signal intensity of the image pickup signal outputted from the image pickup device in response to irradiation with the first narrow band light based on a current operation state of a light source configured to generate first narrow band light and further maintain a ratio of respective brightnesses of the first image and the second image used for generating the observation image to be a predetermined ratio based on the signal intensity information.
