MULTIFUNCTIONAL VISUALIZATION INSTRUMENT WITH ORIENTATION CONTROL
A multifunctional laryngoscope is provided that includes a handle comprising a proximal end and a distal end and a display screen on the handle. The laryngoscope includes a laryngoscope camera at the distal end of the handle and connects to an introducer comprising an orientation sensor at a distal end of the introducer. The laryngoscope includes a processor programmed to execute instructions for receiving from a steering input a steering command in a first reference frame, and mapping the steering command to a second reference frame oriented to the distal end of the introducer based on an orientation signal from the orientation sensor.
Central control apparatus
A system controller configured to centrally control control target devices used in surgery includes a communicating device capable of communicating with a plurality of control target devices, an extraction condition memory capable of storing extraction conditions, and a processor including hardware. The processor detects an abnormal state of connected control target devices. The processor performs recording processing for recording operation information relating to operation on the control target devices as log data into a predetermined storage apparatus. When a device abnormality detecting section detects an abnormal state, the processor extracts relevant information related to the abnormal state from log data.
DIAGNOSIS USING A DIGITAL ORAL DEVICE
A system and method for instant tongue sampling and diagnosis includes acquiring a plurality of tongue images from a plurality of digital oral devices, and a current health conditions, building a diagnosis framework for diagnosing a current health condition of a user by: i) analyzing the collected tongue images with a visual recognition engine to determine tongue characteristics of each tongue captured in the tongue images, and ii) correlating the tongue characteristics with the current health condition, identifying tongue characteristics from a received image of the tongue using the visual image recognition engine, applying the diagnosis framework to the tongue characteristics of the tongue to diagnosis the current health condition of the user, and modifying a graphical user interface of the digital oral device to display a custom health report indicative of the current health condition of the user, in response to applying the diagnosis framework.
Medical system
In a portable apparatus of a medical system, in a case where an operation unit receives an operation from a physician on the basis of the display contents of a display unit, the medical apparatus controlled as a result of the operation of the operation unit by an operator is defined by an operation control unit, and a signal in response to the operation contents received by the operation unit is transmitted from a transmission unit to the defined medical apparatus.
Radiography system
This radiography system has a switching processing unit that switches the device that controls a radiation source and a radiography device to a control device or a portable apparatus. In a case where penetrative imaging has started, the switching processing unit switches the device that controls the radiation source and the radiography device from the control device to the portable apparatus.
ENDOSCOPE WITH INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNITS AND / OR HAPTIC INPUT CONTROLS
An endoscope having an insertion tube with a distal optical module and a releasable handle. In a semi-robotic embodiment, the handle comprises haptic controllers and a computer configured for steering and/or adjusting physical properties of the insertion tube in response to one or more command inputs from the haptic controllers. The computer may also convert image data received from the optical module into two-dimensional images displayable on a monitor. The endoscope may have inertial measurement units (IMUs) for providing data to the computer for creating a digital three-dimensional image representation of an anatomy model and/or for facilitating handling properties of the endoscope.
Endoscopic system
Destination management processing units (13,23) of a video processor and a peripheral device each perform destination management processing in a communication between the video processor and the peripheral device. A plurality of communication processing units are situated above the destination management processing unit, respectively correspond to functions of a plurality of peripheral devices, and each process a command. When the destination management processing unit transmits a command, the destination management processing unit adds, to the command to be transmitted, destination information that indicates which of the plurality of communication processing units is to be used. When the destination management processing unit has received a command, the destination management processing unit determines a destination of the received command using destination information added to the received command and distributes the received command to a communication processing unit from among the plurality of communication processing units that is indicated by the destination.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and image processing program
An image processing apparatus includes a processor to: sequentially acquire plural subject images; select a detection target image from the plural subject images; detect the location of interest in the detection target image; generate spatial information of a superimposed object indicating the location of interest on one of the plural subject images; select a superimposition target image to be superimposed, from the plural subject images; generate inter-image correspondence information between the detection target image and the superimposition target image; correct the spatial information of the superimposed object, based on the inter-image correspondence information; and superimpose the superimposed object on the superimposition target image. The processor is configured to repeatedly execute the selecting the superimposition target image, the generating the inter-image correspondence information, the correcting the spatial information, and the superimposing the superimposed object, until the spatial information of the superimposed object is generated for the detection target image.
MEDICAL OBSERVATION SYSTEM, APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
To provide a medical observation system, an apparatus for controlling an endoscope system, and a method for controlling the same.
A medical observation system includes a multi-link structure in which a plurality of links is mutually coupled by joint parts, a medical observation apparatus attached on the multi-link structure, a control part configured to control the multi-link structure or the medical observation apparatus, and a user interface part by which a user inputs an instruction to change a visual field of the medical observation apparatus. When a user instructs to move a visual field of the medical observation apparatus vertically or horizontally to rotate an oblique-viewing endoscope, or to change a magnification of the visual field via the user interface part, the control part controls the multi-link structure or the medical observation apparatus.
