MEDICAL SUPPORT APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSOR, AND MEDICAL SUPPORT METHOD
A failure information memory unit stores information regarding a period until the failure of an endoscope in a plurality of medical facilities for each cause of failure. A similar facility identification unit identifies a second medical facility similar to a first medical facility. A date determination unit determines, using information regarding a period until failure of an endoscope in the second medical facility, designated date information regarding a date on which alerting should be made in the first medical facility according to the cause of the failure. A transmitter transmits the combination of the determined designated date information and information regarding the cause of the failure to the first medical facility.
CLEANING MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND CLEANING MANAGEMENT METHOD
A cleaning management apparatus manages bedside cleaning for an endoscope connected to an examination apparatus. After an examination is completed, a measurement unit measures the operation time of a predetermined operation button of the endoscope. A recording control unit records that a preliminary cleaning has already been performed when the operation time that has been measured satisfies a completion condition. A notification unit gives notice of a message indicating that the preliminary cleaning is completed when the measured operation time satisfies the completion condition.
Medical borescopes and related tip assemblies
Medical borescopes, such as laparoscopes. In some embodiments, a medical borescope may comprise a handle and a tube extending from the handle, which tube may be configured to reduce electromagnetic interference within the tube. The borescope may further comprise a tip assembly positioned at a distal end of the tube, which may comprise an image sensor configured to take images through the distal end of the tube. The borescope may further comprise a dongle comprising an image processor configured to receive image data from the image sensor. The dongle may be removably coupleable with the medical borescope such that the dongle can be coupled with a plurality of distinct medical borescopes.
Storage apparatus and method for identifying a position of an object
An apparatus and method are disclosed for identifying the position of an object that is, or will be, used in a sterilization process. The apparatus comprises at least two containers and each container has a cavity configured to receive the object. At least one visual indicator corresponds to each container. A programmable hardware device is configured to receive an identifier. Responsive to receipt of the identifier, the programmable hardware device is configured to indicate a position of at least one of the containers that corresponds to the identifier utilizing the visual indicator.
Endoscope system and control method
An endoscope system includes: a processor configured to perform image processing on endoscopic image data, the processor being connectable with multiple peripherals, the processor being configured to receive an input of a first audio command; a terminal device configured to wirelessly communicate with the processor and receive an input of a second audio command; a setting circuit configured to, in a case where the processor and the terminal device can communicate with each other, make a setting such that the first audio command that is receivable by the processor and the second audio command that is receivable by the terminal device differ from each other at least partly; and a first communication controller configured to, when the first audio command or the second audio command serves as an instruction to record the endoscopic image data, transmit the endoscopic image data to the terminal device.
WINDOW SELF-DETECTION
An apparatus for intraoral scanning includes an elongate handheld wand comprising a probe at a distal end of the handheld wand, one or more light projectors coupled to the handheld wand, and one or more cameras coupled to the handheld wand. Each camera comprises a camera sensor and objective optics comprising one or more lenses. Each camera is configured to focus at an object focal plane that is located between 1 mm and 30 mm from the lens that is farthest from the camera sensor. The apparatus further includes a fluorescent transparent film deposited on a surface selected from the group consisting of: a window of the probe through which light exits and enters the probe, and a transparent surface that is not integral to the probe.
OPTICAL SPECULUM
A system for direct imaging and diagnosing of abnormal cells in a target tissue includes a disposable optical speculum and an image acquisition system having the speculum assembled on and mechanically secured thereto. The image acquisition system is arranged to capture at least one of a single image or multiple images or video of cells within the target tissue using at least one of bright field or dark field ring illumination divided into independently operated segments to obtain a plurality of data sets. An image analysis and control unit in communication with the image acquisition system analyzes the data sets and applies algorithms to the data sets for diagnosing abnormal cells.
INTRAORAL IMAGING APPARATUS, MEDICAL APPARATUS, AND PROGRAM
An intraoral imaging apparatus, a medical apparatus, and a program capable of providing auxiliary data for determination regarding diseases having differences in intraoral findings are provided. The intraoral imaging apparatus includes: an imaging device that acquires an intraoral image; a light source that emits light to a subject of the imaging device; a storage apparatus that stores an algorithm for performing determination of a specific disease; and an arithmetic apparatus, in which the arithmetic apparatus executes: a determination process of determining a possibility of the predetermined disease based on the image and the algorithm; and an output process of outputting a result of the determination process.
Endoscope system and generating emphasized image based on color information
The image acquisition unit acquires an image captured by an endoscope. The extraction unit extracts a blood vessel of an observation target. The index value calculation unit calculates a plurality of blood vessel index values based on the blood vessel. The determination unit determines whether each of the plurality of blood vessel index values is a normal value or an abnormal value. The color information setting unit sets color information for an abnormal index value, which is the blood vessel index value determined to be the abnormal value by the determination unit, or sets color information for a normal index value, which is the blood vessel index value determined to be the normal value by the determination unit. The image generation unit generates an emphasized image, in which the blood vessel is emphasized, based on the color information.
Endoscope system, receiving device, workstation, setting method, and computer readable recording medium
An endoscope system includes: a capsule endoscope that is capable of being introduced into a subject and that wirelessly transmits image data obtained by capturing an image inside the subject; a plurality of receiving devices each of which receives and records the image data wirelessly transmitted by the capsule endoscope, each of the receiving devices including a receiver configured to receive, by using wireless communication, identification information for identifying the capsule endoscope, a recorder configured to record the image data, and a first controller configured to establish wireless communication with the capsule endoscope according to a reception result of the receiver and record, in the recorder, the image data transmitted from the capsule endoscope by associating the image data with the identification information of the capsule endoscope; and a workstation that is connected to the plurality of the receiving devices, the workstation including a processor comprising hardware.
