Endoscope device and method for causing still image file with measurement correction data written and moving image file to be associated with each other
11452432 · 2022-09-27 · ·

In an endoscope device, a data reading unit reads measurement correction data corresponding to a type of an optical adapter from a first memory. A still image file generating unit generates a still image file including image data when moving image recording processing is performed. A data writing unit writes the measurement correction data in the still image file. A moving image file generating unit generates a moving image file including the image data when the moving image recording processing is performed. A file recording unit causes the still image file in which the measurement correction data is written, and the moving image file to be associated with each other and to be recorded in a second memory.

SINGLE USE MEDICAL DEVICES
20170215699 · 2017-08-03 ·

A single use medical device can include a single use medical device module configured for use in a medical procedure. The single use medical device can also include an electronic component having a one-time programmable (“OTP”) component that is configured to render the single use medical device module unusable after being used in the medical procedure in the subject. The single use medical device can also include a self-sacrificing module (SSM) that is configured to self-destruct and render the single use medical device unusable upon being cleaned or sterilized after being used in the medical procedure in the subject. The SSM can be operably coupled with a system controller module (SCM), which can read the state of the SSM and determine whether or not the medical device has undergone cleaning or sterilization.

Apparatus with timed color change indication

An apparatus with time controlled color change indication comprises an apparatus includes a disposable, limited or restricted use product and an oxygen sensing color changeable dye disposed on a portion of the apparatus, the dye being translucent or having a first color upon application and for a defined time thereafter and the dye changing color after exposure to oxygen for the defined time. For example, a packaging for containing a product for human consumption has a portion with a color changeable dye disposed thereon. The dye changes color after being exposed to oxygen for a controlled and predetermined period of time indicating that the product for human consumption should no longer be consume or has decreased in freshness, quality of taste or potency.

APPARATUS AND METHOD TO LINK MEDICAL DEVICE STERILIZATION EQUIPMENT

A communication hub provides communication between a number of medical device processing components within a network. A user may access the communication hub via a user device such as a smartphone or computer and monitor and manage configurations and information relating to the medical device processing components. Features include the ability to view current status of medical device processing components in order to identify a device that is available for current use, to receive notifications of failed or completed tasks on devices, to disable or enable devices remotely, to view statistics and data visualizations of the performance and use of devices, and other similar features.

SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING CONDITION INFORMATION THEREOF

An exemplary system includes a memory storing instructions and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions to receive, from a sensor of a surgical instrument, environmental condition information associated with the surgical instrument and detected by the sensor while the surgical instrument is disconnected from an external power source, the surgical instrument including circuitry configured to be powered and operate only while the surgical instrument is connected to the external power source, determine, based on the environmental condition information, an operational condition of the surgical instrument, and provide a notification indicating the determined operational condition of the surgical instrument.

Cordless disposable endoscope

A cordless endoscope assembly includes a housing, an endoscope tube and an eyepiece. Electronics are housed in the housing and operable to operate one or more light sources in the endoscope, the electronics including one or more batteries and a printed circuit board. The housing includes a connector configured to removably couple with a cannula connector of a cannula when the endoscope tube is inserted through the cannula. The cordless endoscope is a disposable single use endoscope that can optionally be sterilized with an ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization process.

Medical borescopes and related methods. In some embodiments, a medical borescope may comprise a handle and a tube extending from the handle. The tube may be partially, or wholly, defined by an at least substantially non-conductive material, such as a suitable plastic, ceramic, or other non-metallic material. The borescope may further comprise a tip assembly positioned at a distal end of the tube, which may comprise an image sensor configured to take images through the distal end of the tube.

ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, ENDOSCOPE, AND CONTROL METHOD FOR ENDOSCOPE
20230255447 · 2023-08-17 · ·

An endoscope system includes a controller configured to receive a detection result relating to insertion of an insertion section of an endoscope into a subject, and record information indicating use of the endoscope based on the detection result in the memory.

Imaging scope with leak indicator, and related imaging system and method
11311174 · 2022-04-26 · ·

An imaging scope includes an internal surface defining an internal cavity, a window permitting visual inspection of the internal cavity, a fluid in the internal cavity having a pressure different than ambient pressure, and a leak indicator transitionable between nonvisible and visible through the window when the pressure of the fluid changes toward ambient pressure.
