MODULAR MEDICAL DEVICES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
A medical device that includes a first body including a first actuation member including a first connector and a second actuation member. The medical device includes a second body for attachment to, and detachment from, the first body. The second body including an actuation wire, a second connector at a proximal end of the actuation wire, and a valve having one or more channels for receiving a material. Attachment of the first body with the second body results in the first connector engaging the second connector, such that movement of the first actuation member causes a corresponding movement of the actuation wire. Moving the second actuation member into the second body to interact with the valve is configured to selectively direct the material through the one or more channels.
HANDHELD WIRELESS ENDOSCOPE IMAGE STREAMING APPARATUS
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media relate to a handheld wireless endoscope image streaming apparatus. The apparatus may establish a wireless connection to a computer system. The apparatus may obtain, via a digital camera, video imagery via an endoscope, the video imagery including multiple frames. The apparatus may stream to a computer system video data.
DETACHABLE ENDOSCOPE
A detachable endoscope including: an insertion unit whose one end is to be inserted into a body; an operation unit coupled to another end of the insertion unit and operating the one end of the insertion unit to perform a bending motion using an operation module; and a detachment unit which detachably couples the operation unit and the insertion unit, and locks the insertion unit in a coupled state simultaneously when being coupled, so that the insertion unit is secured to the operation unit.
INSERTION UNIT AND DETACHABLE ENDOSCOPE COMPRISING THE SAME
An insertion unit for a detachable endoscope, the insertion unit including a housing having a hollow formed penetrating both ends of the housing but being isolated from an outside of the housing; a first intermediate connection part inserted into an inside of the housing to penetrate the both ends of the housing; and a second intermediate connection part spaced apart from the first intermediate connection part and inserted penetrating the hollow.
Information processing method, information processing device, and information processing system
A device, system, and method that: acquires information that a sterilized endoscope, having reusable and non-reusable parts, is used; outputs an instruction for collecting the used endoscope from a medical institution; acquires information on the number of endoscopes scheduled for inspection, a predetermined number of endoscopes not scheduled for inspection, and the number of endoscopes in an endoscope inventory; outputs an instruction for delivering a non-used replaceable endoscope to the institution in response to the collection instruction; and outputs an instruction for delivering a non-used endoscope to the institution when equation (2) is not satisfied, equation (2) being: endoscope inventory quantity>number of endoscopes scheduled for inspection+predetermined number.
DETACHABLE ENDOSCOPE FOR THE DUODENUM
A detachable endoscope for a duodenum including an insertion unit whose one end is intended to be inserted into a body, and which is provided with a force applying module pivotably disposed on the one end; an operation unit coupled to another end of the insertion unit, and operating the one end of the insertion unit to perform a bending motion with use of an operation module; and a detachment unit including a first detachment module disposed within the operation unit, and a second detachment module disposed within the insertion unit and detachably coupled to the first detachment module.
Optical film, connecting member, endoscope camera drape, endoscope device, medical system, optical film production method, and connecting member production method
There is provided a new and improved optical film, connecting member, endoscope camera drape, endoscope device, medical system, optical film production method, and connecting member production method capable of suppressing quality degradation of a captured image while also protecting the endoscope camera from airborne droplets, the optical film provided on the endoscope camera drape including: a drape section that covers a circumferential face of an endoscope camera, and a connecting member which is provided on a front end of the drape section and connects an endoscope and the endoscope camera, the optical film being provided on the connecting member, and including: a reflection suppression section configured to suppress a reflection of incident light incident on the endoscope camera from the endoscope.
LIGHTING SOURCE AND ENDOSCOPE
A lighting source and an endoscope are provided, and the lighting source is used for the endoscope. The lighting source includes a light-emitting diode (LED) chip and a substrate; the LED chip is arranged on and fixedly connected to the substrate, and is packaged into the lighting source; and the lighting source is circular ring-shaped or arc-shaped. The endoscope includes an endoscope tube; an objective lens, located at one end of the endoscope and at least partially located inside the endoscope tube; and the lighting source.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMAGE GUIDED POST-NASAL NERVE ABLATION
Devices and methods for treating rhinitis are provided. An integrated therapy and imaging device is provided for single handheld use. The device may have a hollow elongated cannula, a therapeutic element coupled to a distal portion of the cannula, an imaging assembly coupled to the cannula to provide visualization of the therapeutic element, and an articulating region operably coupled to the imaging assembly to articulate the imaging assembly. The imaging assembly may be articulated so as to translate vertically, laterally, axially, and/or rotationally.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL VISUALIZATION INSTRUMENT WITH ORIENTATION CONTROL
A multifunctional laryngoscope is provided that includes a handle comprising a proximal end and a distal end and a display screen on the handle. The laryngoscope includes a laryngoscope camera at the distal end of the handle and an introducer comprising an orientation sensor at a distal end of the introducer. The laryngoscope includes a processor programmed to execute instructions for receiving from a steering input a steering command in a first reference frame, and mapping the steering command to a second reference frame oriented to the distal end of the introducer based on an orientation signal from the orientation sensor.
