Endoscope valve having deformable check valve on outer surface of valve main body and endoscope
An endoscope valve switches connection states of a plurality of conduits formed in an endoscope to supply air or water, and includes: a cap; a rod-shaped shaft; and an attachment member into which the shaft is inserted. The shaft includes a main body portion including a hole portion having a hollow space extending along the longitudinal direction from another end which is a side opposite to a side of the one end, and a check valve configured to control a flow of a fluid in a space extending along the longitudinal direction from between the shaft and the attachment member. The check valve surrounds an outer surface of the main body portion, is exposed to an outside of the main body portion via the hole portion, has a diameter forming an outer periphery which increases toward a side of the other end, and is elastically deformable.
MICROSURGICAL SYSTEMS FOR PERFORMING SURGICAL PROCEEDURES
In various aspects, a microsurgical apparatus disclosed herein includes a shaft having a shaft distal end, a shaft proximal end with a handle mounted to shaft proximal end. The microsurgical apparatus includes a tool package having an actuator at a tool package proximal end of the tool package and a tool at a tool package distal end of the tool package. The actuator cooperates mechanically with the tool. A sleeve lumen disposed within the tool package slidably receives the shaft for releasable lockable engagement of the tool package proximal end with the handle and with the shaft distal end being generally coextensive with the tool package distal end. Light source(s) and image sensor(s) located proximate the shaft distal end allow viewing of regions distal to the shaft including the tool when the tool package is mounted to the shaft. Exemplary methods of use of the microsurgical apparatus are also disclosed herein.
ATTACHMENT, ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING SUCTION BY ENDOSCOPE
A suction attachment includes a plug including a plug conduit, a first tube including a first conduit having a first end portion and a second end portion, a second tube having a second conduit including a third end portion and a fourth end portion, and a pressure regulator including a body with an interior cavity, a first opening, a second opening, and an actuator. The pressure regulator is connected to the fourth end portion and the interior cavity is in fluid communication with second conduit via the first opening in the body, and the second opening in the body connects the interior cavity to atmosphere. The actuator is movable between a first position and a second position, when the actuator is in the first position, the second opening is open and, when the actuator is in the second position, the second opening is closed.
MEDICAL ENDOSCOPE VALVE
A sterilizable medical endoscope valve comprises a central rod with an at least partially hollowed central channel opening onto one of the front surfaces and a head defining a seat for connecting to a fluid duct. The head and channel are joined by an elastic means. The assembly consists of a single part of unitary construction made of flexible, elastic polymer material.
ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM AND SUCTION UNIT
An endoscope system includes an endoscope and a suction unit. The endoscope includes an insertion portion configured to be inserted into a subject, an operation portion provided on a proximal end side of the insertion portion, and an angle knob provided on the operation portion for operating the bending portion; and an opening provided in the operation portion, wherein the opening is connected to a lumen provided in the endoscope. The suction unit includes a suction conduit, a protrusion inserted into the opening, and a suction button. In a side view perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the angle knob, a center of a top surface of the suction button, a center of the opening, and the angle knob are arranged along an imaginary straight line with the center of the opening located between the center of the top surface of the suction button and the angle knob.
ENDOSCOPE AND METHOD OF USE
Endoscopes and methods of their use, where the endoscopes provide a low profile or cross-section which facilitates introduction through small body passages, such as patient's cervix, and into body cavities, such a patient's uterus.
EAR AILMENT DIAGOSTIC DEVICE AND METHOD
An ear ailment diagnostic device and method in accordance with the present disclosure generally comprises a pair of earpieces, which both further comprise a light source, a magnification lens, an air conduction channel and a miniature camera. The earpieces may optionally comprise a thermometer and/or tympanometer. Each earpiece is coupled to an air conduction tube, an insufflator and an electrical wiring/data tube which is coupled to a computer. The insufflator may be manually, electronically, or battery powered. In the preferred embodiment the computer comprises a smart phone with data processing capability and wireless communication capability. Any data sent from the device can then be interpreted and diagnosed in a remote location so that an accurate treatment is prescribed.
MEDICAL DEVICE EXTENSION
A medical system comprising a scope including a shaft, a handle, and a first tube extending from the handle; medical equipment including a processor and a first fluid source; and a second tube comprising: a first end including a first connector engaging the processor, and a second connector engaging the first fluid source, a second end including a third connector engaging the first tube, a first channel configured to convey data from the processor to the scope, wherein the first channel extends between the first connector and the third connector, and a second channel configured to convey fluid from the first fluid source to the scope, wherein the second channel extends between the second connector and a first fluid outlet of the second tube, wherein the second channel includes a first pump configured to pressurize the fluid passing through the second channel.
FLUID FEEDING AND SUCTION APPARATUS, ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF SUCTION RESIDUE BY ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
