EXERCISE SAFETY PREDICTION BASED ON PHYSIOLOGICAL CONDITIONS
20220392603 · 2022-12-08 ·

Described are techniques, processes, devices, computer-readable media that enable provision of an indication of whether it is safe for a person with diabetes to participate in exercise while using a wearable drug delivery system. A processor may receive or obtain physiological data related to a condition of a wearer of the wearable drug delivery system and by evaluating an exercise model that uses inputs related to the physiological data to make the determination of whether it is safe to exercise and output an exercise safety signal. Modifications to the wearer's medication treatment plan and other actions may be based on an outputted exercise safety signal.

INFECTION RISK DETECTION USING EAR-WEARABLE SENSOR DEVICES

Embodiments herein relate to ear-wearable devices and systems that can detect a risk of infection in a device wearer. In a first aspect, an ear-wearable infection sensor device is included having a control circuit, a microphone, a sensor package, and an electroacoustic transducer, wherein the electroacoustic transducer is in electrical communication with the control circuit.

The ear-wearable infection sensor device can be configured to analyze data from the sensor package to determine physiological parameters of a device wearer and evaluate the physiological parameters to detect the risk of an infection. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Wearable device to identify medical emergencies and notify

An electronic battery-operated medical bracelet device that contains the technology to accurately detect collapse/fall or other medical emergencies, through the monitoring of the heart rate, oxygen saturation, heart rhythm, and patient input. The bracelet will also display the vital readings to the user if the readings return as abnormal, in an attempt to persuade the user to seek medical attention before it becomes worse. Once a medical emergency is detected, the device alerts surrounding people and paramedics of the emergency and distributes medical and personal information different for surrounding people and paramedics. This includes medical conditions, health insurance information, next of kin, etc. This information can be uploaded to the device's onboard memory drive and can share the information or steps to reach the information, through an onboard speaker system, Bluetooth pairing, and near-filled communication (NFC) to which paramedics have special access.

Method And System For Monitoring Internal Bodily Disorders By Detecting And Analyzing Tissue Frequencies
20220386950 · 2022-12-08 ·

A tissue disorder monitoring system includes at least two electrodes constructed and arranged to obtain analog electrical signals from a patient. An amplifier amplifies the analog electrical signals. Filter structure filters the amplified analog electrical signal. An A/D converter converts the amplified and filtered analog electrical signals to digitized electrical signals. A microprocessor circuit is constructed and arranged to execute an application that analyzes the digitized electrical signals to identify and to determine treatment data including a specific location and/or propagation of disordered tissue within the patient. A transmitter transmits data in a wireless manner. A power supply powers the device. A method locating disordered tissue in a patient is also disclosed.

Pressure sensing guidewire assemblies and systems
11517209 · 2022-12-06 · ·

Pressure sensing guidewire assemblies are described herein where the guidewire assembly may be comprised of an elongate guidewire body and multiple pressure sensors secured near or at a distal end of the guidewire body. The signals obtained from the guidewire connectors and aortic sensor modules may be synchronized to minimize signal acquisition delays. The signals may be further processed to equalize the pressure waveforms by shifting the connector waveform to align correctly with the aortic module waveform and improve output signals.
