ElectroCorticoGraphy (ECoG) sensors and uses are disclosed. These ECoG arrays, systems, and processes may be operable or configured to: i) simultaneously record neural signals while providing stimulation on specific portions of the cortex using a user-guided stimulator; ii) acquire neural signals over a large cortex area; iii) provide individual or group stimulation while concurrently receiving neural feedback; and/or iv) acquire neural signals at a setting remote from the neural source using wireless or other communication techniques.

Configurable hardware platform for physiological monitoring of a living body

An implantable medical device is disclosed. A housing includes a hollow body forming a first electrode on an outer surface with end caps affixed to opposite ends, one end cap forming a second electrode. A microcontroller circuit is provided and includes a microcontroller operable under program instructions stored within a non-volatile memory device. An analog front end is interfaced to the electrodes to sense electrocardiographic signals. A transceiver circuit is operable to wirelessly communicate with an external data device. The program instructions define instructions to continuously sample the electrocardiographic signals into the non-volatile memory device and to offload the non-volatile memory device to the external data device. A receiving coil and a charging circuit are operable to charge an onboard power source for the microcontroller circuit.

A system for interfacing an in-body medical device with an external network includes a subdermal wideband on-body network (WON) hub, which in turn includes a hub rechargeable battery, a hub processor coupled to the hub rechargeable battery, a device interface configured to communicate with the in-body medical device, and coupled to the hub processor, and a hub-satellite near field communications wireless interface coupled to the hub processor. The system also includes a wearable WON server that in turn includes a server processor, a server-satellite interface coupled to the server processor, and an external network interface coupled to the server processor. The server processor implements a software controller; and a skin-mountable WON tethered satellite that includes a wired satellite-server interface, coupled to the wearable WON server, and a tethered satellite near-field communications (NFC) wireless interface, configured to communicate with the hub-satellite NFC wireless interface, and coupled to the wired satellite-server interface.

Systems and methods describe providing for the intelligent assessment and analysis of medical patient data. In one embodiment, the system receives medical imaging data of a patient, as well as connected implant data from an implant device implanted in the patient. A number of features are extracted via artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms from the medical imaging data and connected implant data. One or more reports are then generated based on the extracted features. In some embodiments, the systems and methods provide for indices, features, information, and/or metrics which have clinical value, and which enable a surgeon to support his or her decisions (related to, e.g., diagnosis, prognosis, monitoring, or any other suitable subject area).

Systems and methods for optimizing management of patients with medical devices and monitoring compliance

Systems and methods for determining monitoring compliance are provided. Each element in a plurality of data elements is obtained from a medical device connected to a corresponding subject in a first plurality of subjects and interrogated to determine a condition of the device or subject. A medical code and timestamp for evaluation of the device or subject is recorded in the subject's medical record. A determination is made for each epoch in a plurality of epochs, for each subject in a second plurality of subjects, whether the medical code is recorded in the subject's medical record for the epoch by evaluating the time stamps and codes in the medical records. A compliance counter is advanced when a medical record includes the code for a respective epoch and otherwise a noncompliance counter is advanced. Responsive to a compliance request, compliance information or suggested treatment options are provided based on the counters.
