11774532 · 2023-10-03 · ·

A radiofrequency (RF) shielding conduits that can be embedded within a doorframe and/or a door of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) room are disclosed. The RF shielding conduits can form, upon closing of door onto the doorframe, an RF shielding channel to enclose and/or allow passage of tubing of medical equipment extending from an interior of the MRI room to an environment that is external to the MRI room, while providing a RF shielding of the MRI room.

System and method for augmenting patient-technologist communication

The present disclosure relates to a system and method for augmenting patient-technologist communication, before, during, and after a medical imaging procedure. In accordance with certain embodiments, a system includes a processor and a computer readable storage medium in communication with the processor. The processor executes program instructions stored in the computer readable storage medium which cause the computer processor to generate media that relates to a medical imaging procedure as a function of information in an electronic medical record that corresponds to a patient and output the media that relates to a medical imaging procedure to a display or a speaker.

Moveable MRI system RF coil arrangement

Apparatus for imaging during surgical procedures includes an operating room for the surgical procedure and an MRI for obtaining images periodically through the surgical procedure by moving the magnet up to the table. The magnet wire is formed of a superconducting material such as magnesium di-boride or Niobium-Titanium which is cooled by a vacuum cryocooling system to superconductivity without use of liquid helium. The magnet weighs less than 1 to 2 tonne and has a floor area in the range 15 to 35 sq feet so that it can be carried on the floor by a support system having an air cushion covering the base area of the magnet having side skirts so as to spread the weight over the entire base area. The magnet remains in the room during surgery and is powered off to turn off the magnetic field when in the second position remote from the table.

MRI transfer assembly

The present disclosure relates to a transfer cart suitable for use in association with an MR scanner. The transfer cart may include a transfer table assembly coupled to the support frame such that the transfer table assembly and the horizontal support structure portion of the support frame extend substantially perpendicularly from the vertical support structure of the support frame and in substantially parallel planes to each other. The transfer table assembly may be maintained at substantially the same vertical level of a scanning bore of an MR scanner. The transfer cart may include a frame designed to dock with the MR scanner.

Bed system

A bed system including an acquisition unit and a display, in which the acquisition unit acquires user interface device information from a plurality of user interface devices and the display displays a plurality of images corresponding respectively to the plurality of user interface devices on a single screen based on the user interface device information. One set of the plurality of user interface device information includes state information including at least one of bed state information relating to the state of one bed among a plurality of beds and user state information relating to the state of a user of the one bed among the plurality of beds. One image among the plurality of images includes a state display corresponding to the state information. When the state information is abnormal, the first display displays a warning display on the one image among the plurality of images.

MAGNETIC-FIELD MEASURING APPARATUS

A magnetic-field measuring apparatus includes a SQUID; and flux-locked loop circuitry including first circuitry that includes an amplifier connected to an output of the SQUID, and second circuitry connected to the first circuitry. The first circuitry is along an inner surface or an outer surface of a shielding material that separates an inside of a magnetically shielded room from an outside of the magnetically shielded room, the magnetically shielded room including the SQUID. The second circuitry is in the outside of the magnetically shielded room.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PATIENT POSITIONING

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for positioning a subject. The method may include generating a first image of the subject disposed on a scanning board of an imaging device. The first image may include position information of the subject. The method may further include generating a second image of the subject which includes information associated with one or more organs of the subjects. Additionally, the method may include determining the position of a ROI based on the first image and the second image. The method may further include operating the imaging device to scan a target portion of the subject.

Remote Patient Medical Evaluation Systems and Methods
20220248957 · 2022-08-11 ·

A method for remote medical evaluation of a patient includes providing a patient-side application to a patient platform and a practitioner-side application to a practitioner platform, establishing an electronic communication connection between the patient platform and the practitioner platform, transmitting electronic command signals from the practitioner platform to the patient platform to remotely control one or more components of the patient platform, receiving at the practitioner platform information obtained from operation of the one or more remotely controlled patient platform components, and providing on the practitioner platform the obtained information to a medical practitioner. A non-transitory computer readable medium and a system to implement the method are also disclosed.

VIDEO USED TO ESTIMATE VITAL SIGNS

Monitoring patient vital signs is performed by analyzing videos recorded of a patient. An algorithm is used to compute the real-time patient vital signs based on video images of the patient. These images can be captured by a video monitoring device positioned over a patient's bed. The video monitoring device can include a thermal camera and a near infrared camera that continuously send video images to a processing unit. The thermal image is used to locate the patient's face and chest. The images are analyzed with an algorithm employed to determine a patient's heart rate, respiration rate, temperature, and body position.
