CONTACTLESS VITAL SIGN MONITORING OF MULTIPLE SUBJECTS IN REAL-TIME
Systems and methods are provided to monitor vital signs from a plurality of subjects simultaneously and in real-time. The systems and methods can utilize visible video signal or infrared (IR) video signals, or both, defining respective sequences of frames representative of a scene including the plurality of subjects. The systems and methods can analyze digital images corresponding to respective frames in a sequence of frames to generate a time series of image values. In an aspect, the systems and methods can analyze the time series to identify a characteristic frequency representing a value of a vital signal that is oscillatory in nature.
NEAR-INFRARED FLUORESCENT SMALL-MOLECULE PROBE, SYNTHESIS METHOD AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A near-infrared fluorescent small-molecule probe, a synthesis method thereof, and an application thereof are provided. The near-infrared fluorescent small-molecule probe is IR-780-F derived from IR-780, in which the basic structure of IR-780 is retained, an end of an alkyl carbon chain connected with a nitrogen (N) atom is changed by adding a trifluoromethyl group (—CF.sub.3) at the end. The IR-780-F shows excellent performance in photostability, targeting cancer cells and fluorescence imaging, and has low toxicity. It can be used for targeting tumor tissues, in vivo near-infrared fluorescence imaging, and photothermal therapy, which realizes an integration of diagnosis and treatment.
SPORTS INJURY SENSING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A sports injury sensing system and method are provided. The sports injury sensing system includes a sports injury sensing apparatus. The apparatus receives a plurality of inertial sensing data of a user, and each of the inertial sensing data corresponds to a body part of the user. The apparatus determines an exercising body part of the user based on the inertial sensing data. The apparatus receives a thermal image sensing datum corresponding to the exercising body part, wherein the thermal image sensing datum indicates a body temperature state of the user. The apparatus analyzes a temperature change of surrounding muscles of the exercising body part based on the thermal image sensing datum. The apparatus calculates a sports injury assessment based on the inertial sensing data and the temperature change of surrounding muscles.
THERMAL SYSTEM WITH OVERSHOOT REDUCTION
A thermal control unit for controlling a patient's temperature includes a fluid outlet for delivering temperature-controlled fluid to a patient, a pump, a heat exchanger, and a controller that automatically pauses thermal treatment of the patient prior the patient reaching a target temperature. During the pause, the controller assesses a reaction of the patient and changes a temperature of the fluid only inside the thermal control unit if the patient is likely to reach the target temperature without further thermal treatment. However, if the patient is unlikely to reach the target temperature without further thermal treatment, the controller restarts the thermal treatment. The controller may pause thermal treatment again prior to reaching the target temperature and assess the patient's reaction. In some embodiments, the controller may selectively include and exclude a fluid reservoir in a circulation channel within the thermal control unit.
Method and apparatus to detect lipid contents in tissues using ultrasound
A method for quantifying an amount of fat contained in a liver or other tissue of a subject in vivo includes varying the temperature of a target area in a subject, imaging thermal strain of the target area using an ultrasound scanner, and quantifying the amount of fat in the targeted area based on the thermal strain imaging. In some embodiments, the thermal strain imaging is performed using high-resolution, phase-sensitive speckle tracking to differentiate between fat-based tissue and water-based tissue.
CONTACTLESS HEALTHCARE SCREENING
One or more devices may be configured to provide or otherwise facilitate contactless healthcare screening. A mobile app may be installed on a device of a patient, and the mobile app may cause the device to guide the patient through a healthcare screening, for example, including administration of a healthcare screening questionnaire, without risk of making physical contact with the healthcare worker. The same mobile app or another mobile app may be installed on a device of a healthcare worker, and the mobile app may cause the device to guide the healthcare worker in administering the healthcare screening to the patient, also without risk of making physical contact with the patient.
SURGICAL DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS USING MULTI-SOURCE IMAGING
In general, devices, systems, and methods for multi-source imaging are provided.
Estimators for ablation effectiveness
Methods for estimating of the effectiveness of catheter ablation procedures to form lesions. Lesion effectiveness parameters are received, and effectiveness of a corresponding ablation (optionally planned, current, and/or already performed) is estimated. The estimating is based on use by computer circuitry of an estimator constructed based on observed associations between previously analyzed lesion effectiveness parameters, and observed lesion effectiveness. The estimator is used by application to the received lesion effectiveness parameters.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INFRARED THERMAL IMAGING BRA SYSTEM WITH BREAST DISEASE DETECTING FUNCTION
Disclosed is an artificial intelligence infrared thermal imaging bra system with breast disease detecting function. The system includes a side support, two chest support layers and two shoulder straps; the two shoulder straps are fixed at both ends of the side support, and the two chest support layers are symmetrically fixed between the two shoulder straps at the top of the side support; the two chest support layers are internally provided with sliding mechanisms that are adjustable according to different chests of users; a rotating mechanism for driving the sliding mechanisms to move is arranged between the two chest support layers at the top of the side support, and the rotating mechanism and the sliding mechanisms are in transmission connection; one end of the side support is fixed with a sub-buckle, and the other end of the side support is provided with a stretching mechanism.
HYBRID BODY TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
A hybrid body temperature measurement system and a hybrid body temperature measurement method are provided. In the method, position sensing data is obtained. The position sensing data includes an azimuth of one or more to-be-detected objects relative to a reference position. The position sensing data is mapped to a thermal image so as to generate a mapping result. The thermal image is formed in response to a temperature. A position of the to-be-detected object in the thermal image is determined according to the mapping result. Accordingly, the detection accuracy is improved.
