REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING AND MEDICATION DELIVERY SYSTEM
The present invention relates to systems and methods for remotely monitoring the health of a patient in a real-time, continuous manner, remotely deliver therapeutic medications to the patient, and facilitating communication between the patient and a remotely located patient care provider.
DATA COLLECTING HEAD GUARD SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
A head guard is provided. The head guard includes one or more sensors as part of an sensory input and communications system. The head guard wirelessly communicates data to remote computing devices for intelligent data collection.
MINUTE VOLUME SENSOR OPTIMIZATION USING QUADRIPOLAR LEADS
An apparatus comprises a respiration sensing circuit configured for coupling electrically to a plurality of electrodes and for sensing a respiration signal representative of respiration of a subject; a signal processing circuit electrically coupled to the respiration sensing circuit and configured to extract a respiration parameter from a sensed respiration signal and determine a signal performance metric for the sensed respiration signal using the respiration parameter; and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to: initiate sensing of a plurality of respiration signals using different electrode combinations of the plurality of electrodes and determining of the signal performance metric for the sensed respiration signals; and enable an electrode combination from the plurality of electrodes and for use in monitoring respiration of the subject according to the signal performance metric.
MOTION-DEPENDENT AVERAGING FOR PHYSIOLOGICAL METRIC ESTIMATING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Physiological signal processing systems include a photoplethysmograph (PPG) sensor that is configured to generate a physiological waveform, and an inertial sensor that is configured to generate a motion signal. A physiological metric extractor is configured to extract a physiological metric from the physiological waveform that is generated by the PPG sensor. The physiological metric extractor includes an averager that has an impulse response that is responsive to the strength of the motion signal. Related methods are also described.
READMISSION RISK ASSESSMENT BASED ON CHRONOBIOLOGICAL RHYTHMS
Systems and methods for monitoring patients with a chronic disease are described. A patient management system may sense physiological signals from a patient using one or more implantable or other ambulatory sensors, and generate from the physiological signals a chronobiological rhythm indicator (CRI) such as indicating a circadian rhythm. A reference CRI associated with a prior hospital admission event of the patient may be provided to the patient management system, which compares the CRI to the reference CRI and generates a readmission risk score indicating the patient's risk of subsequent hospital readmission due to a worsened condition of the chronic disease. The readmission risk score may be provided to a user or a process, or used to initiate or adjust a therapy delivered to the patient.
Video rebroadcasting with multiplexed communications and display via smart mirrors
During a first time period and for a first user, a second user is automatically selected based on competitive data of the first user and competitive data of the second user, and a workout selection is sent to cause a video of a workout to be displayed during a second time period on a smart mirror of the first user and a smart mirror of the second user. During the second time period, a live stream of the first user exercising is displayed at the smart mirror of the second user, and a live stream of the second user exercising is received and displayed at the smart mirror of the first user. During the second time period, a performance score of the first user and a performance score of the second user is displayed at the smart mirrors of the first user and the second user.
METHODS, APPARATUS AND SYSTEMS FOR ADAPTABLE PRESENTATION OF SENSOR DATA
A method of presenting data from a remote sensor that is monitoring a subject includes obtaining a data stream from the remote sensor, wherein the data stream includes a sensor metric, a metric identifier, dynamically updated integrity information about an accuracy of the sensor metric, and a diagnostic assessment of a health condition of the subject, and then displaying, via a display associated with the client device, the diagnostic assessment of the health condition of the subject, a metric statistic associated with the diagnostic assessment, and a recommendation as to an action to be taken by the subject.
A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING A LEVEL OF ANXIETY
There is described a method and system for measuring a level of anxiety. Measured data comprising EEG data collected from a parietal (P) EEG electrode is received. A group 8 indicator based on a power, P-power (dt), associated with a delta-theta frequency band, dt, within a delta-theta frequency range is extracted. Based on said group 8 indicator, a level of anxiety, LoA, is determined which is a value indicative of the level of anxiety of the subject.
Fabric-Based Items With Stretchable Bands
A fabric-based item may be provided with a stretchable band. The stretchable band may be formed from a ring-shaped strip of stretchable fabric having an opening configured to fit around a body part of a user. Circuitry may be coupled to strands of material in the stretchable band. The circuitry may include sensor circuitry for making measurements on the body part such as electrocardiogram measurements, blood pressure measurements, and respiration rate measurements. Wireless communications circuitry in the fabric-based item may be used to communicate wirelessly with external electronic equipment. A wireless power transmitting device may transmit wireless power. A coil formed from conductive strands in the fabric-based item may be used by wireless power receiving circuitry in the fabric-based item to receive the wireless power. The coil may have one or more turns that run around the ring-shaped strip of stretchable fabric.
