A latex including: a nitrile rubber containing an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer unit in a content of 8 to 50 wt % and an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid monoester monomer unit in a content of 1 to 10 wt %, and having an iodine value of 120 g/100 g or less; and a benzisothiazoline-based compound represented by the following general formula (1), wherein the content of the benzisothiazoline-based compound is 50 ppm by weight or more, with respect to the nitrile rubber, and a redox potential of the latex is 80 to 800 mV. ##STR00001##
In the general formula (1) mentioned above, R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group, R.sup.2 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted organic group, and “n” represents an integer of 0 to 4.

An acrylic elastomer copolymer that is a copolymer of (A) an alkyl (meth)acrylate and/or alkoxyalkyl (meth)acrylate monomer, (B) an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, and (C) a (meth)acrylate monomer having a carbamic acid ester group represented by the general formula:

(wherein R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R.sup.2 is a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms). A crosslinkable composition in which a crosslinking accelerator is compounded with the acrylic elastomer copolymer.
Surface control agent for water-based coating, water-based coating composition, coating film, and multilayer coating film
[Problem] To provide a surface control agent for a water-based coating, the surface control agent having both cissing prevention properties and overcoatability when used for applications requiring excellent appearance and overcoatability. [Solution] The surface control agent for a water-based coating includes: a copolymer containing, as constituent monomers, a dibasic acid ester (A) having a polymerizable unsaturated double bond in an amount of 10% by mass or more and 99% by mass or less, and an ether group-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B) having a (meth)acryloyl group, a vinyl ether group, or an allyl group in an amount of 1% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less, wherein the copolymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 or more and 100,000 or less.

A crosslinking material, the crosslinking material comprising the reaction product of a reaction mixture comprising: (i) a cyclic unsaturated acid anhydride and/or diacid derivative thereof; (ii) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer; and (iii) an alcohol, amine and/or thiol, wherein the cyclic unsaturated acid anhydride and/or diacid derivative thereof is partially-esterified by reaction with the alcohol, amine and/or thiol; and wherein the crosslinking material has an acid number of at least 100 mg KOH/g.

An object is to provide a resin composition excellent in dry adhesion to both a positive electrode and a negative electrode. Provided is a resin composition to solve the above issue, which contains a vinylidene fluoride copolymer containing: 73.7 mass% or more and 96.9 mass% or less of a constituent unit derived from vinylidene fluoride; 0.1 mass% or more and 1.3 mass% or less of a constituent unit containing a carboxy group; and 3 mass% or more and 25 mass% or less of an other constituent unit which does not contain a carboxy group and is derived from a compound copolymerizable with vinylidene fluoride, with the proviso that a total amount of the constituent units constituting the vinylidene fluoride is taken as 100 mass%. A solution obtained by dissolving 4 g of the vinylidene fluoride copolymer in 1 L of N,N-dimethylformamide has an intrinsic viscosity at 30° C. of 0.5 dL/g or more and 3 dL/g or less.

An object is to provide a resin composition excellent in dry adhesion to both a positive electrode and a negative electrode. Provided is a resin composition to solve the above issue, which contains a vinylidene fluoride copolymer containing: 73.7 mass% or more and 96.9 mass% or less of a constituent unit derived from vinylidene fluoride; 0.1 mass% or more and 1.3 mass% or less of a constituent unit containing a carboxy group; and 3 mass% or more and 25 mass% or less of an other constituent unit which does not contain a carboxy group and is derived from a compound copolymerizable with vinylidene fluoride, with the proviso that a total amount of the constituent units constituting the vinylidene fluoride is taken as 100 mass%. A solution obtained by dissolving 4 g of the vinylidene fluoride copolymer in 1 L of N,N-dimethylformamide has an intrinsic viscosity at 30° C. of 0.5 dL/g or more and 3 dL/g or less.
