HIS-BUNDLE PACING FOR ATRIOVENTRICULAR BLOCK
Systems and methods for dynamically controlling His-bundle pacing (HBP) according to an indication of a rate-related or intermittent atrioventricular (AV) block in a subject are disclosed. An exemplary medical system includes an AV conduction monitor to detect an indication of either a presence or an absence of intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance using physiologic information of the subject. In the event that an intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance is present, a control circuit provides a control signal to an electrostimulation circuit to deliver HBP pulses. If there is no indication of intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance, or a previously detected intermittent or rate-related AV conduction disturbance has been terminated, the control circuit withholds or discontinues delivery of the HBP pulses to promote intrinsic ventricular conduction and activation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PHYSIOLOGICAL MEASUREMENTS FROM OPTICAL DATA
A new system and method is provided for improving the accuracy of pulse rate detection. Various aspects contribute to the greater accuracy, including but not limited to pre-processing of the camera output/input, extracting the pulsatile signal from the preprocessed camera signals, followed by post-filtering of the pulsatile signal. This improved information may then be used for such analysis as HRV determination, which is not possible with inaccurate methods for optical pulse rate detection.
DIGITAL CONTENT-BASED DEVICE FOR PROVIDING THERAPEUTICS INFORMATION AND METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a digital content-based method for providing therapeutics information, the method comprising: a first step of performing stimulation on a brain of a user to obtain fNIRS (functional near-infrared spectroscopy) data of the user; a second step of extracting a first brain activation area from a plurality of brain areas of the user using the obtained fNIRS data; a third step of determining a first brain state of the user, based on the first brain activation area; a fourth step of providing the user with a content determined corresponding to the first brain state determined in the third step under an XR (Extended Reality) environment; a fifth step in which the user performs a mission corresponding to the content; a sixth step of extracting a second brain activation area from the plurality of brain areas with reference to the fNIRS data of the user following performing the mission; and a seventh step of determining a second brain state of the user, based on the second brain activation area; an eighth step of determining information related to amelioration of the brain state of the user.
Surgical instruments with sensors for detecting tissue properties, and system using such instruments
A system is provided that furnishes expert procedural guidance based upon patient-specific data gained from surgical instruments incorporating sensors on the instrument's working surface, one or more reference sensors placed about the patient, sensors implanted before, during or after the procedure, the patient's personal medical history, and patient status monitoring equipment. Embodiments include a system having a surgical instrument with a sensor for generating a signal indicative of a property of a subject tissue of the patient, which signal is converted into a current dataset and stored. A processor compares the current dataset with other previously stored datasets, and uses the comparison to assess a physical condition of the subject tissue and/or to guide a procedure being performed on the tissue.
System and method for closed-loop patient-adaptive hemodynamic management
A system and method for patient-adaptive hemodynamic management is described. One embodiment includes a system for hemodynamic management including transfusion, volume resuscitation with intravenous fluids, and medications, utilizing monitored hemodynamic parameters including the described dynamic predictors of fluid responsiveness, and including an intelligent algorithm capable of adaptation of the function of the device to specific patients.
Wearable electronic device and display method of wearable electronic device according to sensor data
A wearable electronic device includes a sensor module, a processor, a display controller, and a display, where the sensor is configured to: collect data, generate a sensor signal that represents a feature of data of currently collected data, and send the sensor signal to the processor, the processor is configured to: determine, according to the received sensor signal, a manner to display that is corresponding to the feature of data represented by the sensor signal and is of the display, generate a display control signal, and send the display control signal to the display controller, and the display controller is configured to control, according to the display control signal, the display to display.
System and method for monitoring behavior during sleep onset
A system and method are provided for monitoring subject behavior during sleep onset. In some aspects, a system includes one or more sensors configured to acquire behavioral data from a subject using input provided during sleep onset. The system also includes a processor programmed to at least assemble a time-series of behavioral responses using the behavioral data acquired using the one or more sensors, and estimate an instantaneous probability of response using the time-series of behavioral responses. The processor is also programmed to generate a statistical model of wakefulness using the instantaneous probability of response, and estimate, using the model, a probability indicative of a degree to which the subject is awake at each point in time during the sleep onset process. The processor is further configured to generate a report indicative of sleep onset in the subject. The system also includes an output for displaying the report.
Method and device for determining inner and outer sides of limbs
The present application provides a method and device for determining inner and outer sides of limbs, and relates to the field of wearable devices. The method comprises: acquiring first somatosensory information of a first side of a limb of a user, the first side being an inner side or an outer side of the limb; and determining whether the first side is the inner side of the limb according to the first somatosensory information and reference information. The method and device facilitate a device that the user wears to perform automatic setting according to an identification result, thereby enhancing user experience.
Opioid overdose monitoring
An overdose of opioids can cause the user to stop breathing, resulting in death. A physiological monitoring system monitors respiration based on oxygen saturation readings from a fingertip pulse oximeter in communication with a smart mobile device and sends opioid monitoring information from the smart mobile device to an opioid overdose monitoring service. The opioid overdose monitoring service notifies a first set of contacts when the opioid monitoring information.
