MULTIMODAL FUSION FOR OBJECT DETECTION
A method of image-based quantification for allergen skin reaction includes imaging an area of skin that has been subject to a skin-prick test to produce one or more images of the area. The method includes identifying regions of wheal and/or flare in the one or more images of the area and quantifying weal and/or flare indicators based on the regions identified. The method also includes outputting results of the quantified wheal and/or flare indicators indicative of quantified allergen skin reaction.
PHYSIOLOGICAL MONITORING METHODS AND APPARATUS
An earpiece module includes a plurality of sensor regions, each sensor region contoured to matingly engage a respective different region of an ear of a subject, and each sensor region including an electrode. The earpiece module is configured to detect or measure physiological information about the subject from the different ear regions via the respective electrodes.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AN OTOLARYNGOLOGICAL FUNCTIONAL PROGRAM
A system and method for generating an otolaryngological functional program, the system including a computing device configured to receive a nourishment program relating to a user; determine an otolaryngological functional program wherein determining includes retrieving a user lifestyle factor; and determining the otolaryngological functional program as a function of the nourishment program and the user lifestyle factor using a functional machine-learning model, wherein the functional machine-learning model is trained as a function of a functional training set that correlates the nourishment program and the user lifestyle factor to the otolaryngological functional program; and modify the nourishment program as a function of the otolaryngological functional program.
MICROBIOME RESPONSE TO AGENTS
A method of determining tolerance to an agent in a healthy subject is disclosed. The method comprises: (a) determining a signature of a microbiome in a sample of the healthy subject who has been subjected to the agent or condition; and (b) comparing the signature of the microbiome of the healthy subject to at least one reference signature of a pathological microbiome, wherein when the signature of the microbiome of the healthy subject is statistically significantly similar to the reference signature of the pathological microbiome, it is indicative that the healthy subject is intolerant to the agent.
IMMUNOTHERAPY TREATMENT KIT AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The invention generally relates to medical kits, e.g., an immunotherapy treatment and testing kits, and more particularly to a method of using the kits and system for treating allergies.
METHOD OF PREDICTING PERSONALIZED POLLEN ALLERGY USING POLLEN CALENDAR AND PERSONAL ALLERGIC SYMPTOM DIARY AND SERVER PERFORMING THE SAME
A method of predicting a personalized pollen allergy includes generating a personal allergic symptom diary by recording a daily allergic symptom and daily drug taking information of a user, calculating a daily symptom index using a pollen calendar of a region corresponding to a location of the user and the daily allergic symptom, extracting allergy generation risk grades for each pollen generation species and allergy-sensitive tree species of the user by using the pollen generation species and a pollen generation grade extracted from the pollen calendar, and the daily symptom index, and generating a personalized pollen calendar based on the extracted information, and generating a personalized risk forecast for each city and county for the user by applying the allergy generation risk grades for each pollen generation species and the allergy-sensitive tree species to a Metrological Administration pollen forecast.
System and method for generating a trend parameter based on respiration rate distribution
Systems and methods provide for assessing the heart failure status of a patient and, more particularly, to generating a trend parameter based on a distribution of the patient's respiration rate. Systems and methods provide for detecting, using an implantable device or a patient-external device, patient respiration and computing a respiration rate based on the detected patient respiration. A distribution of the respiration rate is calculated, and a trend parameter based on the respiration rate distribution is generated. The trend parameter is indicative of a patient's heart failure status. An output signal indicative of the patient's heart failure status may be generated based on the trend parameter.
Attachment tape and pulse photometry probe
An attachment tape is configured such that a light emitter and a light detector are mounted on the attachment tape and such that the attachment tape is wrapped around a tissue so as to be attached to the tissue. The light emitter is configured to emit light. The light detector is configured to detect the light emitted from the light emitter. A width dimension of the attachment tape is gradually narrowed from one point along a longitudinal direction of the attachment tape toward another point at a distal end of the attachment tape.
WEARABLE MONITORING DEVICE
A wearable monitoring device includes a band configured to at least partially encircle a portion of the body of a subject and at least one optical emitter and at least one optical detector attached to the band. The band includes a generally cylindrical outer body portion and a generally cylindrical inner body portion secured together in concentric relationship. The inner body portion includes light transmissive material and has outer and inner surfaces. A layer of cladding material is near the inner body portion inner surface, and a plurality of windows are formed in the cladding material that each serve as a light-guiding interface to the body of the subject. The plurality of windows are circumferentially spaced apart from each other.
Allergen Supply Tray
An allergen delivery system with a tray and delivery set. The delivery set includes a dispensing well. The dispensing well holds a wettable material to receive an allergen and provide it to a delivery barb that has been received into the dispensing well. A conduit is connected to the dispensing well, to receive the allergen and provide it to the dispensing well. A reservoir is connected to the conduit to receive the allergen and provide it to the conduit. A cap is disposed on the reservoir, with a hole, such that when a finger depresses the cap, the finger covers the hole and the depression creates pressure within the reservoir, which motivates an amount of the allergen to flow out from the reservoir through the conduit and into the dispensing well, to be absorbed by the wettable material, where the allergen is available for delivery to the barbed delivery applicator.
