Reversibly thermochromic composition and reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same
[Problems] The present invention provides a highly marketable reversibly color changeable composition which provides a vivid yellow to orange color during color development, turns colorless during decoloration, and improves light resistance and a reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same. [Solution] Disclosed are a reversibly thermochromic composition including: (a) a specific pyridine derivative as an electron-donating color-developing organic compound; (b) an electron-accepting compound; and (c) a reaction medium which reversibly induces an electron transfer reaction between the component (a) and the component (b) in a specific temperature range, and a reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same.
ADHESIVE MATERIAL WITH IMPROVED BONDING PERFORMANCE TO A WET SUBSTRATE AND METHODS FOR PREPARING THE SAME
The present invention provides an adhesive material with improved bonding performance to a wet substrate, the adhesive material includes a first component selected from a polysiloxane-based adhesive, or a polyurethane-based adhesive; and a second component of a catechol-containing polymeric additive which includes a reaction product of polyvinylpyrrolidone with 3,4-dihydroxy-2-chloroacetophenone, and the weight ratio of polyvinylpyrrolidone to 3,4-dihydroxy-2-chloroacetophenone ranging from 10:1 to 1:1. The adhesive material being a mixture of at least the first component and the second component, where the second component is approximately 1 wt. % to 10 wt. % of the first component.
Surface coating compositions
The present invention relates to new coating compositions for the preparation of functional surface coatings on various base material substrates. The coating compositions are based on a silazane-containing polymer and a non-polymeric phenolic compound comprising at least two and not more than four aromatic units in its molecular structure. The coating compositions provide improved physical and chemical surface properties and may be applied by user-friendly coating methods.

FLAME-RESISTANT FOAMED STYRENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a recyclable flame-retardant expandable styrene-based resin composition that attains high flame retardancy and high heat stability with a small addition amount of a bromine-containing flame retardant. Specifically, the present invention provides a flame-retardant expandable styrene-based resin composition comprising a styrene-based resin (A), a flame retardant (B), fatty acid zinc (C), a heat stabilizer (D), and a foaming agent (F), wherein the flame retardant (B) comprises tetrabromobisphenol A-bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropyl ether) (B1) and a bromine-containing flame retardant (B2) other than (B1).
FLAME-RESISTANT FOAMED STYRENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a recyclable flame-retardant expandable styrene-based resin composition that attains high flame retardancy and high heat stability with a small addition amount of a bromine-containing flame retardant. Specifically, the present invention provides a flame-retardant expandable styrene-based resin composition comprising a styrene-based resin (A), a flame retardant (B), fatty acid zinc (C), a heat stabilizer (D), and a foaming agent (F), wherein the flame retardant (B) comprises tetrabromobisphenol A-bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropyl ether) (B1) and a bromine-containing flame retardant (B2) other than (B1).

In order to satisfy at a high level the golf ball flight and control performances relied on by professional golfers and skilled amateurs, this invention provides a multi-piece solid golf ball G having a core 1, a cover 3 and an intermediate layer 2 therebetween wherein the core is formed of a rubber composition that includes an alcohol having a value obtained by dividing the molecular weight of the alcohol by the number of hydroxyl groups thereon which is 70 or less. Also, letting Hc be the JIS-C hardness at the center of the core, H12 be the JIS-C hardness at a position 12 nun from the core center and Ho be the JIS-C hardness at the surface of the core, the core has a hardness profile in which these hardnesses satisfy fixed relationships defined by specific formulas.

RESIN COMPOSITION AND CURED FILM
A resin composition and a cured film are provided. The resin composition includes a resin (A), a crosslinking agent (B), a surfactant (C), an additive (D) and a solvent (E). The resin (A) includes at least one of a phenol-based resin (A-1) and a polystyrene resin including a hydroxyl group (A-2). The additive (D) includes a fluoro-based phenol (D-1), a polyhydroxyphenol resin (D-2), a compound including an epoxy group (D-3), a polyether resin (D-4), a thermal acid generator including a sulfonate ion (D-5), or a combination thereof.
RESIN COMPOSITION AND CURED FILM
A resin composition and a cured film are provided. The resin composition includes a resin (A), a crosslinking agent (B), a surfactant (C), an additive (D) and a solvent (E). The resin (A) includes at least one of a phenol-based resin (A-1) and a polystyrene resin including a hydroxyl group (A-2). The additive (D) includes a fluoro-based phenol (D-1), a polyhydroxyphenol resin (D-2), a compound including an epoxy group (D-3), a polyether resin (D-4), a thermal acid generator including a sulfonate ion (D-5), or a combination thereof.
