CROSSLINKABLE AQUEOUS POLYMER DISPERSIONS WITH AMINOACID CROSSLINKER FOR TEXTILE
The invention relates to an aqueous coating composition, comprising: a) an aqueous polymer dispersion with said polymer containing monomeric units of at least one dicarboxylic acid monomer, bearing two carboxylic acid functional groups and said polymer remaining insoluble in water after neutralization and remaining in the form of dispersed polymeric particles having a mean particle size varying from 10 to 1000 nm, b) a crosslinker selected from aminoacids bearing at least two amino functional groups capable of reacting with said carboxylic functional groups. It also relates to its use in the treatment of flexible fibrous substrates, a method for and the coated or treated fibrous substrate.
VISCOUS COMPOSITION
Provided is a viscous composition that comprises a carboxyl-group-containing water-soluble copolymer, the composition having excellent viscosity even when an amino acid-based surfactant is contained in an amount greater than that of betaine. More specifically, provided is a viscous composition comprising (A) a copolymer obtained by polymerizing at least 100 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylic acid and 0.5 to 5 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester having an alkyl group with 10 to 30 carbon atoms, (B) an amino acid-based surfactant, (C) a betaine, (D) an alkyl glycoside, and (E) an organic acid salt, wherein the mass content of (B) is equal to or greater than the mass content of (C).
HYDROGEN SULFIDE SCAVENGER
The present disclosure is related to a family of metals chelates for use as a hydrogen sulfide scavenger in asphalt, and the preparation thereof. The metal chelates, in particular amino acid metal chelates, are particularly efficient at reducing the hydrogen sulfide emissions of asphalt.
MOISTURE CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
The present invention provides moisture-curable compositions comprising an amino ester catalyst as an alternative to organotin catalysts. In particular, the present invention provides a condensation catalyst comprising a secondary amine, a tertiary amine, a substituted amine (e.g., an amino ester compound), or a combination of two or more thereof and optionally one or more aminosilanes or siloxanes. Further, the compositions employing amino esters allow for tuning or adjusting the cure characteristics of the compositions by the addition of other components such as adhesion promoters or acidic compounds, and provides good adhesion and storage stability.
