Provided is a binder composition for an electrochemical device that has excellent binding capacity and is capable of forming a functional layer that can improve rate characteristics and cycle characteristics of an electrochemical device (for example, a secondary battery). The binder composition for an electrochemical device contains a binder and an organonitrogen compound. The binder is a polymer including at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, a cyano group, an amino group, an epoxy group, an oxazoline group, an isocyanate group, and a sulfo group. The organonitrogen compound includes at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of an azo group, a hydrazino group, a hydrazo group, and a nitroso group, has a 5% mass loss temperature of 140 C. or higher, and has a molecular weight of not less than 80 and not more than 1,000.

A rubber composition for tire treads which comprises 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising 60 to 80 mass % natural rubber and 20 to 40 mass % modified conjugated-diene-based polymer having one or more kinds of functional group having atoms other than carbon and hydrogen atoms, 35 to 70 parts by mass of a filler, and 0.1 to 10 parts by mass of a glycerin/fatty acid ester composition, wherein the filler having a silica content of 3 to 30 mass %; and a tire which includes a tread formed from the rubber composition. The tire obtained using the rubber composition for tire treads has an excellent balance among rolling resistance reduction, wear resistance, tear resistance, and cut resistance.

The present invention provides a tire rubber composition prepared by mixing at least one rubber component selected from natural rubbers and synthetic diene rubbers (A), a filler including an inorganic filler (B), a silane coupling agent (C) and a thiosemicarbazone derivative (D), and provides a production method for a tire rubber composition, wherein the tire rubber composition is kneaded in plural stages, and in the first stage of kneading, the rubber component (A), all or part of the inorganic filler (B), all or part of the silane coupling agent (C), and the thiosemicarbazone derivative (D) are kneaded, therefore providing a tire rubber composition having improved reactivity between the coupling agent and the rubber component and excellent in low-heat-generation property and a production method for the composition.
