The present invention relates to the use of phosphorous-containing organic oxyimides according to the general formula (I) as flame retardant for plastic materials, as radical generators in plastic materials and/or stabilisers for plastics. In addition, the present invention relates to a flame-retardant plastic material moulding compound in which the previously described phosphorous-containing organic oxyimides are integrated, and also to a method for the production of the previously mentioned plastic material composition. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a moulded article, a paint or a coating from the previously mentioned flame-retardant plastic material composition.

The present invention relates to vinyl-based thermoplastic resin composition having excellent thermal stability, which comprises a metal complex agent, and a first vinyl-based monomer and a second vinyl-based monomer having different iron ion concentration from each other, a method for manufacturing thereof, and vinyl-based thermoplastic resin manufactured therefrom. The accompanying vinyl-based thermoplastic resin composition can enhance thermal stability, and the vinyl-based thermoplastic resin manufactured from the composition may have excellent thermal stability. Thus, it can be easily applied to industries requiring thereof, in particular, industries of vinyl-based thermoplastic resin and its mold processed goods.

SURFACE PROTECTION COMPOSITION AND TERMINAL FITTED ELECTRIC WIRE
Provided are a surface protection composition which has excellent anticorrosion performance to prevent the metal corrosion, and also has excellent coating properties and heat resistance with suppressing cracks from being occurred even in a cold environment and maintaining anticorrosion performance, and a terminal-fitted electric wire using these.
The present protection composition contains: (a) a phosphorus compound represented by the following general formula (1) in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass % in terms of phosphorus element with respect to the total amount of the composition; (b) a metal-containing compound in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass % in terms of the metal element with respect to the total amount of the composition or an amine compound in an amount of 0.1 to 5.0 mass % in terms of nitrogen element with respect to the total amount of the composition; (c) a (meth) acrylate having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds and hydrocarbon chains having four or more carbon atoms in an amount of 1.0 to 70 mass % with respect to the total amount of the composition; (d) a mono (meth) acrylate having a hydrocarbon chain having seven or more carbon atoms in an amount of 1.0 to 80 mass % with respect to the total amount of the composition; and (e) at least one of a photopolymerization initiator and a thermal polymerization initiator in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass % with respect to the total amount of the composition.

In the above-presented general formula (1), R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, R.sup.2 represents a hydrocarbon group having 4 to 30 carbon atoms, and R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group having 4 to 30 carbon atoms.

Provided is a monomer composition for contact lenses, which uses a polysiloxane monomer to produce a polymer that shows satisfactory surface hydrophilicity and oxygen permeability, and that is excellent in modulus and elongation at break. It has been found that a monomer composition containing a phosphorylcholine group-containing polysiloxane monomer, a monovinyl ether monomer, and the like can achieve the above-mentioned object.

Disclosed is a polymeric composition containing at least 95 wt. % of a polypropylene copolymer; and 50 ppm to 2000 ppm of an aryl amide containing clarifying agent or a phosphate ester salt containing clarifying agent or a combination thereof, wherein the polymeric composition has a haze value of A after being extruded once and a haze value of B after being extruded 5 times, wherein the ratio of A to B is 1 to 1.35 and A is less than 25%, and wherein A and B are determined in accordance with ASTM D1003, at a thickness of about 40 mil, methods of making the polymeric composition and articles containing the polymeric composition.
