COMPOSITION COMPRISING GROUND PLANT SEED, PROTEIN ISOLATE, STARCH OR A MIXTURE THEREOF, METAL OXIDE AND PLASTICIZER
The invention relates to a composition, such as an adhesive and/or injectable composition, comprising at least or consisting of: ground plant seeds, protein isolate, starch or mixture thereof, a metal oxide, a plasticizer, and optionally, water.
The invention also concerns an article and a lignocellulosic-based composite comprising said composition.
POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION
Provided is a polycarbonate-based resin composition including: a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A); and at least one kind of compound (B) selected from the group consisting of an antioxidant, a dye, a release agent, a light-diffusing agent, a flame retardant, a UV absorber, a silicone-based compound, an epoxy compound, and a polyether compound, wherein the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A) contains a polycarbonate block (A-1) and a polyorganosiloxane block (A-2), and satisfies the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the content of the polyorganosiloxane block (A-2) is from more than 40 mass % to 70 mass % or less; (2) the copolymer has a viscosity-average molecular weight of from 10,000 to 23,000; and (3) the copolymer contains a specific polycarbonate block as the polycarbonate block (A-1).
POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION
Provided is a polycarbonate-based resin composition including: a polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A); and at least one kind of compound (B) selected from the group consisting of an antioxidant, a dye, a release agent, a light-diffusing agent, a flame retardant, a UV absorber, a silicone-based compound, an epoxy compound, and a polyether compound, wherein the polycarbonate-polyorganosiloxane copolymer (A) contains a polycarbonate block (A-1) and a polyorganosiloxane block (A-2), and satisfies the following requirements (1) to (3): (1) the content of the polyorganosiloxane block (A-2) is from more than 40 mass % to 70 mass % or less; (2) the copolymer has a viscosity-average molecular weight of from 10,000 to 23,000; and (3) the copolymer contains a specific polycarbonate block as the polycarbonate block (A-1).
Acid resistant adhesive composition
This invention relates to an acid resistant adhesive composition, comprising at least one polychloroprene; at least one epoxy silane; at least one amine silane; at least one unsaturated silane; and at least one organic solvent. The acid resistant adhesive composition according to the present invention exhibits excellent initial peel strength and final peel strength after being soaked in electrolyte solution and shows good acid resistant property.
Acid resistant adhesive composition
This invention relates to an acid resistant adhesive composition, comprising at least one polychloroprene; at least one epoxy silane; at least one amine silane; at least one unsaturated silane; and at least one organic solvent. The acid resistant adhesive composition according to the present invention exhibits excellent initial peel strength and final peel strength after being soaked in electrolyte solution and shows good acid resistant property.
ROOM TEMPERATURE VULCANISABLE SILICONE COMPOSITIONS
A silicone elastomer composition which is generally storage stable, and cures to an elastomeric body, comprising; (i) an organopolysiloxane polymer having at least two hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups; (ii) a siloxane and/or silane cross-linker having at least three groups per molecule which are reactable with the hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups in the organopolysiloxane polymer (i); (iii) a solid organosilicate resin which is substantially unreactive with components (i) and (ii) and comprising R.sub.3.sup.2SiO.sub.1/2 and SiO.sub.4/2 siloxane units, wherein the molar ratio of the R.sub.3.sup.2SiO.sub.1/2 siloxane units to SiO.sub.4/2 siloxane units is from 0.5:1 to 1.2:1, and R.sup.2 is selected from hydrocarbon groups; and optionally (iv) a suitable condensation cure catalyst. The solid organosilicate resin (iii) is generally utilised to create a low modulus room temperature vulcanisable (RTV) silicone composition which when cured may be used as a coating, an adhesive or a sealant having high movement capability.
ROOM TEMPERATURE VULCANISABLE SILICONE COMPOSITIONS
A silicone elastomer composition which is generally storage stable, and cures to an elastomeric body, comprising; (i) an organopolysiloxane polymer having at least two hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups; (ii) a siloxane and/or silane cross-linker having at least three groups per molecule which are reactable with the hydroxyl or hydrolysable groups in the organopolysiloxane polymer (i); (iii) a solid organosilicate resin which is substantially unreactive with components (i) and (ii) and comprising R.sub.3.sup.2SiO.sub.1/2 and SiO.sub.4/2 siloxane units, wherein the molar ratio of the R.sub.3.sup.2SiO.sub.1/2 siloxane units to SiO.sub.4/2 siloxane units is from 0.5:1 to 1.2:1, and R.sup.2 is selected from hydrocarbon groups; and optionally (iv) a suitable condensation cure catalyst. The solid organosilicate resin (iii) is generally utilised to create a low modulus room temperature vulcanisable (RTV) silicone composition which when cured may be used as a coating, an adhesive or a sealant having high movement capability.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR GOLF BALL COVER
The present disclosure provides a resin composition for a golf ball cover. The resin composition includes a thermoplastic polyurethane resin including 55 to 70 parts by weight of a polyol, 30 to 40 parts by weight of an isocyanate, and 0.2 to 0.4 parts by weight of a polysiloxane. The polysiloxane includes at least one hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group in the terminal alkyl group. The polyol and the isocyanate constitute a silicone-free thermoplastic polyurethane resin, and the polysiloxane and the isocyanate constitute a thermoplastic polyurethane resin that includes silicone in the main chain, thereby improving the scuff resistance and slip property required for a golf ball cover.
COATED OILFIELD OPERATIONAL COMPONENTS AND METHODS FOR PROTECTING AND EXTENDING THE SERVICE LIFE OF OILFIELD OPERATIONAL COMPONENTS
Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.
