Cosmetic preparation containing crosslinkable silicone rubber emulsion and its production method
A cosmetic preparation containing a crosslinkable silicone rubber emulsion comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a straight chain or branched organopolysiloxane containing at least two hydroxyl groups bonded to the silicon atom per molecule prepared by ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic organosiloxane in the presence of an alkoxysilane or its partial hydrolytic condensate or an ,-dihydroxy or dialkoxy siloxane oligomer by using a catalyst selected from citric, lactic, and ascorbic acids and an anionic surfactant emulsifier; and (B) 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of a reaction product of an amino group-containing organoxysilane and an acid anhydride.
Azocarbonyl-functionalized silanes
Azocarbonyl-functionalized silanes of formula I
(R.sup.1).sub.3-a(R.sup.2).sub.aSiR.sup.1NHC(O)N?NR.sup.4(I)
and methods for their production are provided. The silanes of formula (I) are useful in rubber mixtures to provide moldings having improved tear-resistance.
Azocarbonyl-functionalized silanes
Azocarbonyl-functionalized silanes of formula I
(R.sup.1).sub.3-a(R.sup.2).sub.aSiR.sup.1NHC(O)N?NR.sup.4(I)
and methods for their production are provided. The silanes of formula (I) are useful in rubber mixtures to provide moldings having improved tear-resistance.
POLYMERS AND RESIN COMPOSITION EMPLOYING THE SAME
A polymer is provided. The polymer includes a first repeating unit represented by Formula (I) and a second repeating unit represented by Formula (II):

wherein Y.sub.1 and Y.sub.2 are independently H, CH.sub.3, or CH.sub.2CH.sub.3; n is an integer ranging from 1 to 25; and the molar ratio of the first repeating unit to the second repeating unit is from 5:95 to 15:45. A resin composition including the aforementioned polymer is also provided.

POLYARYLENE SULFIDE RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED ARTICLE
A polyarylene sulfide resin composition includes: 100 parts by weight of (A) a polyarylene sulfide; and 10 to 200 parts by weight of (B) a glass fiber, wherein, when a cumulative integral value from a molecular weight of 100 to a molecular weight of 10,000 in a molecular weight distribution curve of (A) the polyarylene sulfide is taken as 100, the cumulative integrated value at a molecular weight of 4,000 is 48 to 53, and when a melt flow rate of the polyarylene sulfide is defined as MFR1, and when the melt flow rate obtained after mixing the polyarylene sulfide with an epoxy silane coupling agent at a weight ratio of 100:1, and heating the resulting mixture at 315.5? C. for 5 minutes is defined as MFR2, a rate of change represented by MFR2/MFR1 is not more than 0.085.

RESIN COMPOSITION, POLYIMIDE RESIN FILM, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided is a resin composition characterized by containing (a) a polyimide precursor that has a 308 nm absorbance of 0.1-0.8 when formed into 0.1-?m-thick polyimide resin film by heating for one hour at 350? C., and (b) an alkoxysilane compound having a 308 nm absorbance of 0.1-1.0 at a solution thickness of 1 cm when made into a 0.001-mass % NMP solution.
