The room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition contains: (A) an organopolysiloxane represented by the following general formula (1) ##STR00001## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n represents an integer of not smaller than 1; (B) a hydrolyzable organic silicon compound and/or a partial hydrolysis condensate thereof represented by the following general formula (2) ##STR00002## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group, and a represents an integer of 1 to 3; and (C) a curing catalyst.

The present invention relates polysiloxane based aerogels obtained by reacting a functionalised poly(dimethylsiloxane) oligomer and an aliphatic or aromatic isocyanate compound in a presence of a catalyst and a solvent. A polysiloxane based aerogels according to the present invention provide high thermal insulation material, while good mechanical properties and performance is maintained.

The present invention provides a polyimide film forming composition which comprises a polyamic acid or a polyimide in an oligomer form or in a low-molecular weight form, the polyamic acid or the polyimide being prepared from a diamine containing an intramolecular imide group, and thus can provide a polyimide film having improved heat resistance while retaining optical properties thereof. In addition, the polyimide film according to the present invention can reduce not only a laser energy density (E/D) required in the laser exfoliation process but also remarkably decrease an amount of ash generated by an exfoliation process, thereby further improving the reliability of a device in a display manufacturing process.

Two-Component Aqueous Coating Composition

The invention relates to a two-component aqueous coating composition comprising: A an aqueous resin component comprising a carboxyl-functional resin; and B a substantially water-free hardener component comprising: a carbodiimide comprising in the range of from 1 to 20 carbodiimide moieties and terminal and/or pendant non-ionic emulsifying groups; and an alkoxysilane selected from the groups consisting of an organo-functional alkoxysilane of general formula (I) R1[-(CH2)n-Si(OR2)3-m(R3)m]p (I) and a tetraalkylorthosilicate of general formula (II) Si(OR2)4 (II) wherein m is 0 or 1; n is an integer with a value in the range of from 0 to 6; p is 1 or 2; R.sup.1 is an organic group comprising an epoxide group, a vinyl group, or a (meth)acryloyl group, or is a hydrogen atom and R.sup.1 does not comprise a carboxylic functional group, a mercapto-functional group, or an amine-functional group; R.sup.2 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R.sup.3 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, wherein the weight ratio of the carbodiimide to the alkoxysilane in hardener component B is in the range of from 10:90 to 85:15.
