USES AND METHODS FOR ELEMENTOMIC CHARACTERIZATION ANALYSIS IN DIAGNOSIS AND PROGNOSIS OF MEDICAL DISEASES AND CONDITIONS
The present application provides a method for detecting infertile spermatozoa in a sample, the method comprising: detecting a concentration of at least one metal in the sample that falls outside of a predetermined range using single cell inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (sc-ICP-MS). It also provides a method for detecting infertile spermatozoa in a sample, which comprising: detecting a dynamic or kinetic parameter of a signal spike of at least one metal selected from the group of several metallic elements by sc-ICP-MS.
DIAGNOSTIC PROBE FOR MEASURING THE DEFORMATION OF AN INTERNAL CAVITY
The diagnostic probe can be inserted into a vaginal or rectal body endo-cavity of the human body so as to measure the displacement of the walls of the endo-cavity and organs that surround the endo-cavity and so as to measure the displacement and the passive and active resistance of at least one muscle of the perineum. The diagnostic probe includes at least one endo-cavitary body provided with at least two pressure sensors arranged in the same plane and acting either in the same direction or in two opposite directions. The endo-cavitary body can be deformable without opposing resistance and matching the walls of the endo-cavity. The endo-cavitary body includes at least one device for measuring the displacement of the endo-cavitary wall along the three axes X, Y and Z.
Surgical system for and a method of identifying an incision site
A surgical system for and a method of identifying an incision site includes a surgical system having an intra-urethral probe and a template. The probe has a distal end opposite of a proximal end that is insertable into a urethra of a patient. The probe is sized and configured to prevent the proximal end of the probe from entering a bladder of the patient. A proximal end portion of the probe is magnetized to a first polarity. The template is sized for placement between an anus and a scrotum of the patient. The template includes a magnetic region magnetically attractable to the first polarity of the probe.
Urination apparatus / condom-catheter collection container & kit
A portable male urinal container. Usage includes but is not limited to: a doctors office, hospitals, airplanes, trucks - cars, boats, etc. Having a top funnel opening with accompanied lid enclosure. Therein, liquid is contained in the apparatus aft chamber. The top wall of the pod defines flow course where from one of two handle configuration provides the means for stable operations and preventing any spillage. In a second configuration, the apparatus bottom section is entirely disposed with a sponge or similar absorbent material. In yet another variation, liquid can be emptied by turning the container at an ideal slant such that the contoured structure directs fluid into a 1 way valve opening. Lastly, the urinal is ideal for potty-training when bathroom facilities are impracticable for teaching purposes.
Another application for the apparatus is that of a container for disposing condoms and external catheters.
A corresponding urination kit includes a fitted towel used in conjunction with the present invention.
Additionally, a measurement apparatus includes a stick with a plurality of discrete measurement apertures for determining urinal and prophylactic-external catheter sizes; a method for determining proper penis width, and instructions for purchasing correct sizes.
